sometimes we have to give up our dream because they are just not feasible too. for instance, i would love to stay home and write or craft all day and even if i lived by myself, i probably couldnt because that would not pay the bills. on the flip side, even if you are married, you dont have to give up your dream entirely, you can still do what you love while working at another job.

thanks. but the difficulty is sometimes, it's hard to persuade ourselves to live for others, I'd rather have a job after I've got married, in China, most of the women still work, even they already have kids. I think me too.

If a person's love is very strong for his or her partner or for one's family then one could consider giving up one's dream. Those people love us a lot and if they are not comfortable with the kind of dream we are pursuing, then I feel we should always give a second thought. Also we should reason out why that person is uncomfortable with our dream; if the cause is unreasonable we should try to explain in a calm and composed manner but if they make us realize that we are running after an illusion, then it is better to be wise and give up on that dream. After all sometimes we tend to be unreasonable and only others who love us can make us realize our fault.

Probably, but then it would always feel like there is a hole where something should be inside my soul. What makes you want to ask?

Do whatsoever feels most right to you. Take the time, to go off some place quiet and ponder your path in your heart. I wish you the best no matter what path you chose. With Love and Appreciation.

I gave up lots of dream for my family. I was happy pursuing them but I couldn't ignore my family. That's when I have to choose and I choose my family. I may regret it but it would be better than leaving my family just like that.

Yes, i can do that in a heartbeat. Life is too short to spend on things that will not last forever. Fame and fortune will always be a part of our lives, but family and loved ones can never be replaced by anything.

I think my answer will be yes, because when i was in single status i dreamed that i will become a good business woman in the future but now, because i need to take good care of my children, instead of having a business i become a full time mom but i am happy on what i have now because my family give the happiness to me that other things cannot give.

We say we can, but in the end it mostly turns out we can not. It will eat us if we are not able to live our dream. We all are individuals and we need a piece of our life for us.
