What is the best bank to save money in at the moment?

Discuss your opinions on banks? And my opinion would be Barclays causes its financially safer than other banks and was matched with santander to be the best to survive the recession etc.

I do not have confidence that there is any such thing as the "best bank" right now. If I had to chose one over another, I suppose I would chose ING; their interest rate seemed more stable throughout the recession.

That is very true, even though they took a hit they were a very respectable bank to their customers, that's why I love banks like ING and SAntander but I only always bias towards Barclays cause thats where most of my money's at and it's my nearest most reliable bank! :)
