I am deeply hurt. I thought I could find a job online, but I failed. I have a friend who told me that I could get a job online and the company pays a decent income to the employee. She told me that the requirements are easy. Many Filipinos were hired even if they are just a college level or a working student or did not even graduate in college.
It means to say that the requirements they are looking for the applicant is easy and I could easily be hired in the company. I am so happy. At last, I have my own source of income, but when I search on the internet, I felt complete loss of courage upon reading those lists of requirements from the company.
They need an applicant who has an experience in teaching and the required applicant is a third year college. I am only a first year college and I am already stop going to school.
I stay on work online opportunities because I have no job. Therefore, I am going back on work online opportunity that pays only a cent. For almost a year, I could not find any job online that would satisfy me and would fit the requirements just for me. I am a totally failure. When it comes to a real “job” online, either you are working at home or outside from home, why is it difficult to find a job that accept an applicant with no experience, less skill and did not have a college degree and then, the company pays a decent income?
I guess that for those people has less skill, no experience and did not have a college degree deserve to pay less huh?

hi there!
don't be sad, even college graduates are jobless. but i think if you really want a job, don't be too choosy, fast food chains are hiring and if you really need work, apply. most companies would like to maintain the efficiency of their own processes, so they would like efficient and qualified workers. you can not expect a company to hire you as typist if you are slow in typing. so is the same in other companies, don't lose hope, you will find a work, just dont be choosy.
I am a nurse, a professional but i work online, people would classify me as underemployed because my education is higher than most of my co-workers but since i need a job, i'm in it.

Fast food chain is fine but I think they have age requirement. That is what I know for the fast food chains. I am more than 30 years old and I think I am not fit in that job. Philippines here have an age requirements unlike other countries. My aunt is working as a fast food chain even if she is more than 40 years old in other countries. If you are already more than 30 years old, it is difficult to find a job here in the Philippines except for those call center. Call center accepts any age as long as you know how to speak English but I also was rejected more than twice in a call center.
I think to stay here in myLot is my last choice – he he he this is the site that I got my payment twice even if I cannot buy food for my family and I cannot pay all the bills in the house. I have my mom who does all these things like paying bills, go shopping and buy the food we eat, still I feel guilty. My father is retired from work and my mom is complaining about the money. I would like to help but the money is not enough.

Im from the Philippines too :)
here are my online jobs, just to give you an insight.
I blog - but as of now I haven't earned more than a dollar
I Mylot - you know the incentives here so no need to explain
I teach english online - this is the best so far, I earn 120 per hour for this.
I signed up with Odesk - I haven't earned a single cent for this
If you are more than 30 years old you can still find work. as i said, don't be choosy. You can apply at malls, grocery stores, retail shops.. I believe that it is easy to survive in the Philippines when you are not choosy. Lessen the burden of your mother, I know it's difficult but start kicking yourself out of your house and find work.

Hmmm.. I feel sorry for you and I want to help you out in this way I can. How about this. Since you have failed in looking for an online job. How about you look for one in the real world? One of the jobs non-employed people excel in is being a call center agent. Yes, it is stressful but if you put your hear in it and enjoy what you are doing, no doubt you can be successful in your job. It pays high even as a starter but you would have to undergo training. Another job would be a data entry employee. You would require fast typing skills for that though and since you have a computer, no doubt that it would be easy for you to train your typing skills if you still are not good in it. Download some typing software(most of them are free) and get started immediately. You do not need to have a degree for this jobs I think and if you try your best looking around, you definitely will find one, trust me. Hope you do better in life then!

Oh thank you for your suggestion. Call center is still a demand in the Philippines. I have a friend who works in a call center and she earns high salary. I was rejected in a call center more than twice and lose confidence but I never give up. My English is not good but I think about it. I am going to apply again if I have time.

I hate to say this, but if you can make the money there, then that is where you have to go. People just need to get jobs where-ever they can and make money where-ever they can. Every little bit helps especially these days. I am going to apply for a job at my tutoring center, and I am just applying for a job where-ever I can get on. You have to do what you have to do to make it these days.

Okay. Thank you for your respond. Looking for a job is so very difficult these days but I realized that some people who become rich because of desire and determination become successful. They did not give up and I got inspired. I always remember the saying “Try and try until you succeed.” The only problem is when looking for a job here in our country, some companies have high qualifications and requirements which is the reason why some people that are unemployed have difficulty in finding the right job.

Well, i think as the economic situation worsen all over the world. The unemployment rate is rising. And it is harder to get a decent job.
I think sometimes we are forced to spend lots of precious time to earn very small amount of money. If we can't find jobs that pay much more, we have to do this. But i think we should never give up learning and searching better jobs. Only when we keep on fill our brains with knowledge, we can have more chances to earn more.
Of course in the situation that the unemployment is high, companies will ask for more competitive persons. But don't get disappointed, if you have real ability, and you can show them, you will get experience.

My only ability that I had is to manipulate images in Adobe Photoshop. Though I know how to edit images, it still looks like amateur. I have received certification in Adobe Photoshop and learn some of it within a month, but what I like is to get experience and would like to have an ‘on job training’ like what I see to those college students who do the actual training in the company. I think it is required in their school.

It's really a big challenge for people who have no experience and limited skills to land a job, but it's not impossible. Don't give up looking for one. Expand your job search to include offline work. You could also apply for work that you may not like that much. I mean, your goal is to add experience and skills so that you could find a better job eventually.

Okay. Hmmm. I have already received certificate in Adobe Photoshop graphic design. I have trained in Adobe Photoshop graphic design within one month. They just taught me on how to create tarpaulin, movie poster and designing a scrapbook with the use of Adobe Photoshop but I still do not call it an experience. I have already forgotten all they taught me – he he because that was the year 0f 2010. After I got my certificate, I stayed at home. I do not know where I would go and I do not know what to do. Some big companies I knew hired applicant with the advance level in graphic designing and so, they hired applicants that have a bachelor degree.
How I wish I could find a place where I can add experience and enhance my skills in graphic design.
