Riding trains and buses or owning your own car. which is more practical or most convenient for you?
I chose riding on public utility buses, taking the train or taking a cab. I thinks it more practical for me because i can estimate my budget allotted for my daily fair and maybe exceed a little more dollar. Unlike owning a car of your own you have to gas up every now and then and the price of gasoline (or whatever your car use to make it move) is increasing now and then.
These public use vehicles can also allow you to meet other people with other destinations to go to and maybe you could meet your guy/girl here. You can also have those moment that you call "coincidence" which is likely to be sweet giving you goosebumps. Unlike your car you will always expect this guy/girl to accept or decline your offer of giving her/him a ride.
Public used vehicle also gives you discipline. You have to wake-up early in the morning to catch the earliest trip to your destination to come to work on time and sometimes earlier than your boss making it good impression of the day. Unlike owning your own car you always think that you can go to your destination anytime you want knowing your ride will always be ready not thinking of the possible traffic.
And for me what makes both choice neutral, both can be foreseeable of calamities done by nature like rain, flood, earthquake or anything...
you, what do you think? make you choice...

When my ex-boyfriend and I were together we always used public transportation, because we didn't have a car. I didn't mind using busses or trains, because I was used to that. Today I live with my husband. We have a car and we use the car all the time. We live on a island and there are few busses between our island and the neighbour islands. It is not impossible to go by bus, but it takes much, much longer to get to your destination if you have to use public transportation. That is the main reason why we prefer to use our car. When it is cold outside it is also very nice to use the car because it is very cold to stand outside and wait for the bus.

well as for me i would rather have a car because right now in Chicago it is so cold to wait for the bus i hate waiting for the bus in winter times sometimes it delays because of the snow and plus you have to get up extra early if you going to work just to catch the bus . and also sometimes there some rude people on the bus and there be accidents i remember my first time taking a bus i had to stand up and i fell and some big lady fell on top of me twice and that was so embarrassing people where laughing at me. and then there are those days when the bus is so pack.
