Just finished the t-shirt quilt for my 5yo GD...didn't have many t's to choose from so some of the blocks are fabric of things that meant something to her, like fabric from the first princess dress I made her, from the toothfairy pillow I made her and she likes the Disney princess' so I have fabric for that. My label inthe middle and one from her fav cousin above it...60x60 and fleece on the back. Haven't given it to her yet, but she is gonna love it!

Thanks elicbxn...They are the greatest grand kids ever! I have one started of Strawberry shortcake for the 1yo and looking for mickey mouse for the 3 yo (love of her life...so far!) and then for G-son...an outdoor animal theme. I love making for them, hope they understand what it means to me to do it and have some of "me" with them! One day, they will!

Thanks alot jillhill....for some reason, this purple one was harder and took longer than the first pink one. Don't understand why, but it did! I know I changed the pattern a little with the different sashings in the middles but still....not enough to make that big a diff...I didn't think! But done now and on to the next one! She saw it today and loved it being so soft with the fleece. She isn't understanding the memory part of it, but at 5yo....memories aren't that memorable yet! But they'll be there when she is!
