I prefer home remedies when it comes to small health issues such as fever, cold, diarrhea, cough etc. Medications i feel should be avoided as much as you can unless really needed. Many of us are so used to popping pills just like having chocolates. Any small issue and there they have pills for everything and anything, which i guess is very dangerous for health. A kitchen is in itself a big store for our small health issues. but we tender to ignore it and run to a pharmacy and as a result our body responds to these quick and dangerous over the counter medications. which prove harmful and useful to our health. If you are a sore throat just take a salt water gargle, a mild cough due to cold, ginger tea is the best remedy, for diarrhea try little nutmeg powder, or a garlic pod for gastric attack. These home remedies work wonders. But in today's fast world we tend to depend on pills. Do you agree?

I feel the same way. As a nursing student, I know very well that pills have side effects especially to your kidney and liver. So when I am not feeling very well, I try home remedies first before going to the doctor if it doesn't work after 3 days.

Yes even i prefer home remedies to pills. Remedies are safe, trusted since ages and have no harmful effects on our body unlike pills which are mostly accompanied with side effects.
These are nice and easy remedies which you have shared.
