it's just really touching how far a parent would g to save his child- especially if he was a retired CIA agent... i just loved Liam Neeson's voice and acting- he was great there and very believable- in being a dad and an agent... It also hits a real problem, human trafficking which is very rampant in our country too. it would be nice to have neeson's character in real life to destroy these gangs or other people wh kidnap and sell people..

Omg...this is one of our favorite movies. we watch it everytime its on. How easy it would Be for this to happen to a young girl. something so innocent could turn so bad. i think deep down we all would really would want our daddys to save us an i like the idea that this movie makes the bad guys think that they really never know who they are messin with!!

Yeah, this happens almost everyday I guess, poor kids who get victimized by this. I really hope that human trafficking would be stopped somehow, but it just keeps getting worse every year..

Hi lady1993, Taken is one of my favorite action movies, which from beginning to end keeps you on the edge. I just love the way he tracks those guys down, his intensity and ferocity in dealing with such people. The scene where he speaks to the leader over the phone is my favorite scene ( I got a special set of skills dialogue rocks!! )

That is what I love about this movie too- it was pretty exciting, every minute of it. It was full of action and suspense. I love his voice to, it is very intimidating..

I thought Taken was a really good movie too. It really established Liam Neeson as an action star, which was a weird role for him to have before this movie. But after this one he really started making movies that put him in the action hero genre. He did UnKnown, and then the recent movie, The Grey. And yes, human traficking is a real problem, and something that is not talked about enough.

Wow. You must have forgot about Liam Neeson just like Hollywood did! He was the bad guy in Batman Begins. He was an old-west-style killer in Seraphim Falls. He was the original Darkman. He was in a Dirty Harry movie with Clint Eastwood. And who can forget that he was the bad-a$$ brother of Patrick Swayze in Next of Kin!? I don't know why Hollywood gave up on him in action-driven roles, but he was kicking butt long before Taken. I'm just glad he's back now! He is a great actor! No Bruce Willis, but nobody's Bruce except Bruce.

I never saw Batman Begins, and was too young for some of the others.

I saw the movie..maybe one or two year ago? Not bad,but so efficient it's almost mechanical.Daughter gets kidnapped in Paris;Dad goes to Paris to get the bad guys;Dad knocks 'em all off.Simple as that.Well made and Liam Neeson is terrific as a character who's far more Jack Bauer than James Bond.

Yeah, I really love Liam Neeson here- this movie actually made me a fan of his since i haven't seen him in anything before Taken. His character is definitely more awesome than Jack Bauer.

This movie touched me too. It feels good when you see how a father would do anything for his daughter. As a daughter, I felt really, really lucky. I also felt guilty because sometimes I tend to be hard headed and disobedient.

Yes, this is definitely a nod to those fathers out there who really work hard and sacrifice a lot for their family... I am so lucky to have parents who are willing to sacrifice anything for me too.

Hey there lady 1993, Liam nson is the bomb and you should watch the grey that was just awesome. I hope that all fathers would be like that and would sacrifice life just to protect there children. I hate fathers that are irresponsible and even monsters to there children. Great movie bada** action.

The gray? Is that another movie of his? I will try and search for it.. I hope parents' love are like the main character in this movie...they may not be as skillful as Liam, but there are other ways of loving and protecting children..

I have heard of Schindler's list- I think it is in IMDB's top 250 movies of all time... I am just not fond of war movies, but since I am a fan of liam Neeson, I might give it a try.

I used to be confused with Ralph Fiennes and liam Neeson- especially after seeing them together in Clash of the Titans. I just hope their earlier movie together is entertaining enough...

Yes, Liam Neelson's voice is nice for sure. He was very believeable in this movie. Human trafficking is a real problem here and abroad. I have written about it and it is really scarey. They are so well hidden and organized in some areas that it is very hard for the authorities to find and do anything about them.

Yeah, it is a big problem in our country too, many women have been scammed by those people- and what is sad is that their own countrymen did those to them... Everyone is just so desperate for money these days..

Taken is one of the best action films to watch, Liam Neeson plays the role of a father who is finding his daughter from being sold in the human trafficking market. It is a good action film to watch, Liam Neeson is just excellent in the film ...
