Do you believe onions can cure flu?

That sounds quite impossible. Flu viruses don't even javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$cphMainContent$lbStart','')reside in the feet, so it makes no sense at all. Are you sure you don't mean athlete's foot or some other kind of fungal/bacterial infection the foot?

Hey there boylopez, This is the weirdest type of cure that iv heard, ive heard of drinking or intaking odd stuff but wearing onion on you is just out of my league, but hey if it worked for them i guess it is one weird cure. But being a nurse, i cant see any medical reason for onion to cure flu that way.

Never heard about this remedy. I do not know whether it works or no, but no harm in giving a try. May be it works .

I didn't know about the onions can help us to cure when every time we get flu. For me, I drink medicine tablet,drink lots of water ,eat good foods and rest then I felt better when every time I did this.

Hello boylopez I never heard such thing that onion can cure flue. Does it really work ? Or it is only a myth ? If it really work, that's cool. I wonder what the relation between onion, feet and flue Maybe I'll give it a try when I have flue, it is easy to do .

i've read about the health benefits of onions, onions contains many substances that are good for health to treat various diseases, either by consume them, rub it on your body, and yes according to the research and experience since 1919, onion slices can also absorb flu virus

Boy, when my relatives in village area catch flu, i ever heard that they are also using onion, to cure their flu. Although it smells strong and stink, it seems very effective in treating flu. But, it will takes much longer time to get well from flu, since it is herbal way of treating the flu. As for me, i am unable to use this method since i am not used to the strong smell of raw onion. So, i prefer to take flu medication, when catch flu.

Never try those method. I only know about ginger and chicken soup but this tip seems easier to try. Now my feet will have onion smell. But if it's work, no harm done in trying this tip.

I don't think the healing capacity of onions is myth or fiction. It once helped me in my flu problem before...of course along with some other herbs too with honey. It tasted nothing like any bitter medicine I've taken before and I so don't wanna remember that experience anymore...

hi, i don't think so that onions can cure flu but onions have many benefits too in our health,but to cure flu in that way i don't think so its true,maybe i will try someday if i have flu to test if that is working,because even before i didn't heard from other people about that.

I've read about it and testing that was done in order to confirm it. However, the results were inclusive in the article I read which makes me believe it's just the placebo affect. There is no curing diseases from viruses if my memory serves me correctly, only hoping the body kills it before it can reproduce.
