touched 500 mark, still just 7 stars

hi friend i also face this type of problem when i saw members here have smaller posts then me but having a blue star or 10 rating but i have only 9 at present but still i am happy and try to give quality posts so that people give positive rating to me and my star color changes from red to blue.so friend i suggest you to do the same and you see after some time their is a great increase in your rating and best of luck for your higher ratings.

Hello Jaihobalodiji, Our reputation solely depends on the ratings which other users give us on our responses/discussion/comments so we should try to write quality content to gain +ve from them.I reached on BLUE star after lot of hard work and wishes from my friends.I remember i stuck on 9 for almost 2 months but never gave hope i knew it that i will one day acheive blue one just i did try to write quality content and left rest to others. Hope you too reach it soon just continue doing good work no one can stop you to acheive it.

hi jai, I just got a blue star and thanks to my friend here who extended his best wishes to me for this. Just be active with quality contents in a descriptive manner. As long as I enjoy being active here, I am really not concerned about my star color as I could find some nice friends here and i hope they will continue to be friends irrespective of the star color or rating/ ranking. take care

Hi jaiho, The star we have on our username does not depend on the user rating we have beside our name. The star depends on the + or - ratings we received from other myLotters. Negative ratings might pushed down our star rating, while receiving positive rating helps move up our star rating. Normally rating someone negative is not use here as it can also affect our ratings if we rate someone negatively without proper reason. Moving up the star depends on the quality of our responses and ratings we get from other myLotters. The more you are active here, the more chances of getting positive ratings from others - whenever myLotters see us here actively participating, we become familiar to them and thus might rate us when they like our replies or discussions.

Hii jaihobalodiji... Yeah, sometimes there are lots lotters that have higher star than us. The star is depend on how good the discussions and responses we give and how much rate we get. So just try to give a better responses and hope the lotters will be willing to hit the + for you . I always rate people with +. I do it to you too. Happy mylotting.

Dear Jaihobalodiji! I am one of the senior members you can say on this site! I am almost with this site right from its inception and I have seen hoe this site has reached to this beautiful state with few teething problems which initially had! Now coming to your problem, like many of our fellow friends told you the number of posts has nothing to do with your star rating! The details about this is given in the FAQs section! To have a star reputation we need to have our responses and discussions to be rated in a positive way by the members who are going through them! From the exprience what I have gathered so far from this site, I think one need to be active on this site and make his/her presence felt by other members so that he/she can become popular amongst the regular members! Once we get the popularity, it is the quality and quantity of the posting which again matters! A sincerely attempted response is always appreciated by the discussion raiser and I think this helps usto get our star rate increased! Initiating a discussion and commenting back to the responses in the form of comments increases the chances of getting more ratings as we are getting ourselves exposed to the members very frequently by repeatedly commenting on their responses! Having good number of friends and sincerely attending their discussions and participating in the form of discussions in true sense can fetch good star rating! Please never be rude or use unpleasant or unparliamentary language as this may get one negative rating! Hop with these small tips I think you can improve your star rating, if implemented religiously! I have 1200, but only 7 in my stars because of the way I have been rated. Times I have been rated negatively because of the negative comments I have answered. Just hang in there, it'll come. My ratings have gone up to 8 and gone down to 6 more than once. That's just the way it works. Good luck on Mylot. I have helped tonight with your ratings.

I already reach 500 posts but got only 8 stars. This was because some of my discussion before are deleted by the admin. I felt so sad but I learned a lesson to not to violate mylot guidelines. I hope my rating will up soon. I had 10 stars before. But now it is down to 8 stars. I know it is my fault.
