Do u buy so many DVD's that months later they still have the plastic wrapper on?

I honestly don't know what it is with me. I will be shopping in Walmart, Best Buy, or anywhere else that they sell DVD's & if I see a movie or TV show I watch I have to have it on DVD. Just today I looked through the DVD's that were piling up on the self in our livingroom & a whole bunch of them still have the security tape & plastic wrapper on. None of them were ever even opened, yet I swore at the time that I would watch them. My husband says I do this all the time. He says I am a hoarder of DVD's, but I swear at the time I buy them I really do want them & have every intention of actually watching them. But now I find myself looking at the very same DVD's & I'm asking myself, "Why did I ever want to buy this movie?" Do any of you have this problem as well? Do you have unopened DVD's piling up somewhere, still in their plastic wrapper waiting to be opened & watched?

No..I don't have that problem. It is very very rare that I would buy a dvd. I have so little time for movies that when I do want to watch one, I will find something to rent. It is rare that I would want to watch a movie twice and if I did, I'd just rent it again. They would just take up space if I owned them. I do have a handful of kids ones for the grandchildren but I think they just left them at my house. The only one I can recall actually buying is The Labrynth which is pretty much a classic. iT was in the 5.00 bin at Walmart. It was a huge favorite of my girls and my grandkids had never seen it so yes..I did invest.

Yeah I saw that movie too when I was little & yes it is a classic.

I really don't buy DVDs at all. I only need to see them once.. and if they're good I might want to see them again.. but not for awhile. So I just rent them from Netflix instead of buying them.

I need to stick to movies that I know for sure that I will want to watch over & over. Sometimes I feel like I want to watch that particular movie again, but then I never do.
