Hello my dear My Lotters, its been weeks since i last log in here.
I so miss all of you and the discussions.
I just got home from the hospital,my nephew is confine in the hospital for a week now and he is fighting so hard for his life.He is diagnose with Dengue 2 and peripheral pneumonia.
Yesterday i was there the whole day and planned to stay the whole night. But,when his blood pressure went down to 60/40 he was given 180cc of IV direct to his heart. All the strength i gained to stay for the night vanished,he convulse and chill and his eyes and mind is leaving us and i can't really take it.I don't want my brother(his father)to see that i am crying because they need me to stay with them but i can't take it..
Nobody wants to see their love ones dying...
Because we are expecting my nephew's mom to give birth this week she can't be with him in the hospital. That is why my brother and i are the only one's staying with him.Later today i will be there again,i prayed the whole night, That HE gives me strength to endure all the pain seeing my nephew fight for his dear life.
I know you will be with us in this...

Hi tamirs
As I read this my mind goes back in time to the day when I was all alone and my late grandfather was ill. I know, at this stage, all I can do from here is to pray for easing the pain and a faster recovery of your nephew...
I also pray that the Lord above does give you all people in the family the right courage to face the situation, be composed and stay tough to handle whatever the wishes of the Lord.
warm

Oh dear. I wish I was by your side at this sad and tough time. I pity myself and the fact that distance between close friends plays a real spoiler.
Please dont hate yourself as you or us cannot do anything beyond what best we are doing and I am quite sure that you and family will stand together during all this - the other problems that you have been posting about, too would not seem to play any significant role here and they will all get resolved.
My prayers and best wishes dear. Stay Strong and I know many in your family will be needing your strength at such tasking and sad times.

Thanks dear for the BR. I had my BR already when you posted your other discussion about his health. It was quite a relief to know he is out of danger and more happy
I wish him a great health and ask you to take good care of him in the coming days to see and ensure he is completely recovered.
Also, my belief now becomes stronger - God Does Listen to Prayers when the are told from the Heart.

Hi, sorry to hear about everything, I do hope and pray he'll recover from his illness. I know it's painful but actually just by being there with your brother and him will actually give them the extra boost to keep them fighting and not give up. From their perspective it's very comforting, so I hope you'll be able to take comfort in the fact that you're are in fact helping them a great deal.
Will be keeping your nephew in my prayers, though. Just hang in there, one day at a time. I know it's nerve-wrecking cuz both my children has been in and out of hospital for eye surgeries (both are visually impaired and run a high risk of losing all their vision). Each eye surgery is scary for me as a mother because I'm always wondering if the retina will remain in place or detach during the surgery.
Wishing you nothing but the best

Hi Masihi and Tamirs, i understand how sad to see our loves ones had been in and out of hospital. A few months ago, my mother had been in and out of hospital as well, since she needs to undergone eye surgeries for both of her eyes. It is happy to see now she is doing fine and able to see more clearly. Hope the same for you, Masihi.
Tamirs, do have a strong faith to overcome your problem.

That is bad. When I was a kid, I always slept with a mosquito net or what we call 'kulambo' and I was safe. We should pay more attention to our kids. I pray for your nephew to heal soon. Let us be aware when disease will fall unto our family.

Thanks cowboy. We suspect that he got the bite from his school because there is no case of dengue in our place or even their place. But of course we really can't know where he was bitten. And you are right, we must pay attention .
Thanks for your prayers dear..

I am so sorry to hear about your nephew's suffering! I pray that God will heal him and give you the strength that you need to be there while that is happening. Think of how hard this must be for his mother considering that she can't be there at this important time in her son's life. I am sure that her and your brother are both scared as well. Please let us know how this turns out.

I see that my brother is in most pain,if he can only trade for his sons life,i know he'll do it.Today,i saw him, i know that what i am feeling can't at least be half of how he feels right now.If he can only take all the pain for his dear child,i know he will.
And my sister in law, even if she isn't crying i know that her heart is crying too much.
We will count on to your prayers for my nephew and the whole family dear.

hi tamirs oh I am so sorry to hear this about your little nephew
I will send a lot of prayers that he will recover soon and be his
own loveable self again, Its so hard to stay and watch a loved'one fighting for his life. I went through this with my husband and despite all my prayers, I watched him return to his maker. I
remember holding his hand and knowing he was leaving me, and
whispering "this is not how it was supposed to end." I just
could not quyite take it in that he was leaving me for good.
I hope that your nephew will recover soon and be well again.
'I hope other mylotters join me in sending prayers as our prayers
can be really strong.

Tam, you should always be strong and have the courage to overcome any problem. Your case had reminded me back regarding my recently problem, where my mother needs to have an urgent eye surgeries for both of her eyes. Because her diabetics gone high and almost makes her goes blind. It is indeed she was lucky and able to stay fine after the surgeries. Most important is pray more and stay strong. I am sure through prayer, the doctor will be able to heal your nephew's illness soon.

I'm so sorry to hear that your nephew is going through all of this. The pain to see someone suffer is undescribeable. I hope that he will be able to pull through this. For you and his parents I'm sure it is so hard to cope with all of this. Continue to pray and ask for strength during this difficult time. It has been for weeks since you posted how is he now?
