I read this news about a boy dying in front of a computer while playing for a long time. He died and nobody even noticed that he was already dead for 9 hours!
He was found dead by one of the waitresses and was found out to be dead for more than 9 hours!
He died because of a stroke, I think. I remember reading that it was because of blood clots cause it was cold in the computer shop.
Who knew that you could just die while doing nothing but sit? It's scary for me cause I play alot of computer games myself. But I think it could be avoided by just standing up and stretching every once in a while.

well that sounds scary.. Computers are not likely the cause of such incidents..
Computers are helpful not just for us users but also those non-users...
Accidents only happen when a person are too attached to computers and always spends time glaring and focusing with it.. Computers are quite helpful to us...
Computers are not cause of accidents.. It just that people abuse the use and importance of a computer.. We know that computer really bad for us if stick to it for many hours, but still we continue to abuse its usefulness..

Yes. There is always possibilities for thrombosis especially when you stay in one position for a long time. That is why you should not use a computer for a long period of time without moving around. Same case applies when you are travelling by airplane.

Well, none of us are getting out of this ride alive...but what deeply disturbs me about this story is that it took such a long time for them to NOTICE that he had passed on.
What does this say about us?
Are we not looking at each other any more?
Are we just focused on what we need to do and no more?
This story saddens me.
Deeply.
Anyway, thank you for sharing it - as now, I will be more AWARE when out and about.
