Had been experiencing symptoms lately and i went to my ob yesterday for check up. We laid down what i have been experiencing and she told me that - all of those are signs of cervical cancer. But there is not confirmation yet as i need my papsmear. So i will be having my papsmear the coming week. She said not to worry as early detection will be helpful. All me and hubby can do right now is pray. no one knows other than him and my bestfriend and well...everyone here in mylot. I just need to get this out because i want to cry.

In 2007, I went through a scare myself. My smear turned out to be abnormal. I had no symptoms, just an infection that turned into this. It was scary, the wait was horrible. I had to go for treatment, and that was the worst part of it. But the treatment got it, and that's what matters. It may have changed my life, but I don't let it get to me. Because it was caught early enough, I can still have kids, and that's what I want. You should be fine since it was caught early.

hi there! i know its not easy but worrying will not help you and will cause your cells to be weak too. just keep on praying. remember that God is good and He will never let you in a situation when you can't handle it. make your self healthy by exercising and eating healthy foods. don't eat foods that will have cancer cells more healthy. eat rich in antioxidant foods like broccoli. pray and pray because it really works. God bless.

1) Prayer is good. 2) You need lots of nutritious food to fight the cancer. Lots of fresh fruits, vegetables and greens. Fresh and raw is best. 3) Lots of exercise is also necessary. All the best!

I really wish your doctor had examined you before saying what they "think" this could be. I mean now you have to wait and pray and hope that it is not cervical cancer. This seems so unfair to you and your husband. Not to mention the waiting time for the test results to come back. Sometimes, I really wish doctor's would think before they speak!!

Actually i was the one who told her the symptoms and she ie'd me..and there were blood actually. more of it. So many symptoms led to that conclusion. Though she didn't really confirm it. But i did ask her to what would the possible causes of it and the likes. I need to hear it from her rather think of it all by myself. But then again. I am praying it isn't cancer.

I hope you do not worry, maybe you can do now is pray, and do not despair. each event is always a silver lining. sometimes we just are not ready to accept something bad. but we still have to accept it, as we received the good news. possible to see many people worse off than you, can make you be more grateful and more excited again.

That is good. Good things will always come to you, if you always pray, grateful, and do good. There is nothing you need to worry, as long as you are always on the right path.

Yes i barely can't sleep. I try to keep it off my mind but i guess it is there at the back of my mind and it still creeps back. I try not to discuss it with my husband because he doesn't want to. all he says is let us be happy for now and pray and wait for results. Everytime we mention it we both feel like crying but i try not to exaggerate about it, it might just be nothing. SO yes being positive helps. thank you both Letran and Jai.

I agree with you Sis-Jaiho, you should go on with the check up and see results, predicting too much can cause you stress indeed.we don't want to contribute the stress but we prefer giving you support and advice for positive outlook on life.

Hi Jaz... I hope you'll be just fine. I'll pray for you. You know, things may not always be what they seem. Two years ago, I was crushed when my father's doctor said that he needs further diagnosis (ERCP) to determine what is causing the big swell in his gall bladder. And, at the onset, he said that the diagnosis seem grim. Actually, it was so grim that the first time we went to the family doctor, she immediately sent us to a specialist. And from the Xray, that doctor highly suspected cancer and so immediately wanted to do the ERCP. It was so shocking and I felt like the world was spinning and my mom was not there with us, so, I had to be the one to tell her that there is a very big possibility my dad could have cancer. All we had were prayers and the slight chance that the ERCP will reveal us a different diagnosis as the Xray. And, true enough, the ERCP revealed it to be a very huge gallstone that had clogged the bladder and all that was needed was to remove the bladder. So, I'm sharing our story to help you give hope. And, as I said, I'll be praying for you.

Hi jazel_juan. Oh it is not the end of the world if you do have it, as your OB said the earlier the detection is the better, and I'm sure you caught it in time if you do have it confirmed. Let us know that the results are, and keep us posted. Thinking of you. I have a very good friend now going into surgery soon for cancer too.

HI Jazel If detected early cure is certainly possible, well you must get tested by well known gynecological-specialists of your place, only after that you may go for treatment.. Best of luck, have faith on God, he will help you. I will pray for you too. Professor

I've been to that situation before. But don't worry have faith in God, God makes miracle. Please don't hesitate to seek 2nd, 3rd or even 10th opinions until your convinced that its really is it.
