and tomorrow I will not come either. I have to start my "follow up" chemo which is not really chemotherapy but I´ll be having Maphtera for 2 years every 3 months. The good news, in spite of the fact that tomorrow I´ll be at the hospital again for the day, is that I have had very good results with chemo. I´m VERY happy and already thinking what sort of naughty things will I do now. I started by eating some food that was out of bounds during chemo. I´m also thinking about vacations, at least daydreaming about them. The doctor pronounced me "on remission". I want to thank all of you, friends, who have been with me during these months. Your help has been very important.

I must confess that I´m eating a lot of red meat. Chicken and turkey are something I hate now. I discovered that a big juicy steak could net be so bad if I just used salt and very little oil. I serve it with salads and that´s all.

Now that doesn't sound bad at all. i wouldn't want any chicken or turkey either. Are you having any desserts?

Hi marguicha, not myLot, it is more important to start your follow up treatment. I appreciate your courage. You ignore your serios illness and give company to the friends of myLot. It is very happy news that you are gradually recovering. Yes we are with you and will be.

Thanks for your wishes. I´m taking life one day at the time but want it to be meaningful. Mylotters have been important to me in this stage as I have been in seclusion for several months.

I'h glad your well now, marguicha. Happy for the good results. I was away from myLot for quite a long time and now am back. It's alright for you to be away from myLot from time to time, better to give priority to our health. Anyway we can come back anytime and myLot can wait. You may go on vacation and I think that's the best but for sure yOu'll still do mylotting while on vacation. I wish you complete recovery, Marguicha. God bless...

Thank you, dear. I have had wery good results from the chemo and I´m very happy. I´m taking one day at a time and probably that´s the best way to deal with this illness. I have good friends online and here at home who help me with their love and prayers.

My dear friend Marguicha. I am delighted to hear that your doctor said you are on remission. It has been lucky that chemo has not badly affected you. I am happy that you will be able to eat foods that were previously out of bounds. I am so very much looking forward to seeing you. I will come over after 3 nights in Argentina. I am very pleased that you will be planning a vacation. I am pleased that My Lot friends have helped you feel happy and able to cope.

Hi Maxine, I have the suspicion that not all chemos are the same, as not all cancers are the same. I am finished with hospitals until the beginning of May. I hope I feel well enough as to have some vacations. For the moment, I´ll go to the countryside to my friend´s house.

Oh..Marguicha..I didn't realize your next round, was so near, and I am sorry, I didn't get to "wish you well" before..today (which is the day!)..but sweet prayers are winging your way instead! THe countryside sounds so relaxing, I wish you could go..but putting it all together, your gardens, your plants..Sure hope one of your daughters will step in, and give you this much needed hiatus! Just know, dearheart, prayers and thoughts are with you!~

My chemo round was a sort of vacation and happened today. I am pissed with my 2 daughters because they planned their vacations without thinking of going with me to the doctor. Anyway, I hired a known taxi driver to take me and bring me home. He is a retired gentleman with a small pension and carries ol´witches for less money than proffesional cabs. I slept all the time in the hospital so I´m trying to mylot a bit before going to bed.

The hospital ordeal is over: I went today. Tomorrow I have dentist and I´ll check how I am feeling. After some days and depending how I feel after this, I´ll call my friends. Up to now, I feel fine!

You definitely do deserve to dream after the journey that you've been through with your chemotherapy and your visits to the hospital. I know that is something that we are looking forward to being able to do at some point this year after going through chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Also, the fact that you will only have to have your Maphtera treatments once every three months means that you will have plenty of time to do the things that you want to be doing with your life.
