my children were circumcised as small babies i know the risk of infection and the increased risk of penile cancer has been reduced it was not done for cosmetic reasons at all but as far as circumcising a female that is just barbaric and there is no real purose served by doing it

They don't need to be if the parents of child don't wish it. I on the other hand have 3 boys and they each where done when they where born. I think that it's much easier to keep clean this way. But it is all up to the parents and if they want to have it done or not.

Yes circumcision please! :) I think that it should be free and the majority of men should have it, unless they are absolutely against it. I've seen many babies go without it because the parents couldn't afford it.

Yes I think they should be circumcised, I have two boys and they were both done in the hospital before we went home, no problems afterwards, I knew some boys that were not and got infect and they had to have it done, poor kids. I think it's best to be done as infants, just born, they heal faster.

I had my son circumsized. I've read that not only is it more hygenic but also that it lowers the risk of some diseases. I would think that it is also less painfull at birth than having it done later in life.

Guys should be circumcized because it will cause a awful smell if you wont. It's a hygiene.
The one yo heard is about newborn circumcision. Circumcision has been suggested as a effective method of maintaining penie hygiene. It rdces the amont of smegma prodeced by the male organs. Smegma has a charcteristic of strong oder and taste which may be considered to be a nuisance or give the impression of a ack of hygiene.

My partner is not circumized
My son is not circumsized - his father is.
When my son is older he can make that dicision.
I believe that males are born with foreskin for a reason, leave it be.

As a medical student I would suggest every parent to get this done to their child within the 1st year of their life , as it reduces ( to a great extent ) the changes of future problems ( Infections .. etc ) !!! And plzzzzz do not make this a religious issue !!! Its really a question of how hygienic and healthy U R !!!

For health reasons, I think circumcision is a good thing....I think its a personal choice, but I have a 10 month old, and my husband and I both said, YES!
