Sen. Miriam Santiago

Only one thing I can save about her, she is TV gold, Primetime news is boring without her. I want her to be in a reality show and she must have Immunity in the first 2 months so she wont be voted out immediately and just watch her lose her temper and intimidate the people who are inferiorly intelligent.... Damn that is like delicious entertaining TV. On the bright side she is one of the best senators in history. a hard working one.

Well, she is my favorite senator for a reason. When I do watch her, I understand what she's coming from (because I can follow her logic, even though I can't have her degrees). Perhaps, I can imagine her in my mother because they kinda made from the same mold (but my mom's a little nicer and sociable). This view is shared by many of mother's colleagues and acquaintances. They also kinda have the same look. Anyway, I think we are grateful in Senator Santiago because some of her actions and sentiments are what we want to happen in the trial. She is our Representative in that court. She relates her expertise rather than warming her seat and not saying anything substantial (my emphasis on the last word). Although many times, she does go over the edge and many people malign her for it, I think it's better to have a Miriam Santiago in a court full of lawyers who are in fact, fools of fame and ambition.

Well, I've already read about the Senator and it seems to be a great women. His carriere is impressive and she has showed always to be an intelligent woman. She has also a wide field of culture. Almost she were elected as President. She's still young and she will give a lot of talk in the future.

I have too much admiration for Senator Miriam Santiago. How I wish she isn't sick to be able to attend the impeachment proceedings. I remembered that time I heard her speak in person. She is very intelligent and not at all intimidating. She has the sense of humor and I can't stop myself from laughing at her pick-up lines. She is very eloquent and I think she can be compassionate. I am hoping she will be back at the impeachment proceedings. She does not mince her words and know the law and its interpretation.

As I can sense her for being so dedicated, loyalty and ability as a public servant, she shows care and concern to the country and to her fellowmen. No other way to judge her of not being a good mother and a family wife.

Thanks for posting this friend. Because of all senators, Sen. Miriam Santiago is my most favorite senator. She keeps on fighting against corruption in the Philippines. As the senators of the Philippines said, Senate hearing could be so boring without her presence. She is so brilliant and courageous. I love also her "taray lines" and pick lines in senate hearing.

she is. i think she is really just loud mouthed oerson but meant no harm, just wants to get things done, though.

well, we never know... she is very eloquent but hot-tempered. that is what separates her from the rest, one of a kind, so they say though not to be able to control gives her away, too.

she's just like that whenever she's on the floor of the senate but I think she's a very loving mother. she could have that stern-mothering style at times but I 'm pretty sure she's not as "intimidating" when it comes to her family.

Indeed,she is a very articulate,intelligent and strong woman.She is quite controversial sometimes but she can manage it in a nice and intelligent way.She is a woman with sense. She quite popular again due to her funny pick up lines that she use as ice breaker during her speech or interviews.

I'm a big fan of senator santiago. Other may say that she is funny sometimes but i admire how intelligent sen. santiago. When sen. santiago join the senate judge, there was really a great change in the system and flow of the impeachment trial. What i like so much about her is her willingness to implement what is necessary especially if its for the good of the many.
