I always run out of things to write since most of the music sounds like pretty much the same too me, most are boring. So to change the reviews a bit I always have a tab open with a list of musical terms and another with thesaurus website. It helps me make my reviews better, for someone like me who does not know much about music besides basics.

I like the site, but they seem to play the opposite music of what you put as your music choice. Is there anyway to change your music choice. Can anyone give me any tips on how to increase my rankings? I know it goes up our down by how close you rate the songs to what everyone else rated them. The thing is I am just not good at trying to figure out what other people put. I do not get it because I usually am pretty good at these things, but they throw me off by playing music that most of the people I know would never listen to. I have friends who like Rap, rock country. I seem to do all right on those type songs but then you get rave, house folk, jazz, reggae, and I cannot figure how people vote for these songs for the life of me.

I use slicethepie and while you will never sustain a lifestyle with it, you can make a little pocket money for yourself. To save time I do not pause the song. I type through it and discuss every single thing that occurs musically and vocally. I do this to work fast, and efficiently. I get about 17 cents a song, and about 20 songs an hour. It's only like $3 an hour and that is me being DEDICATED for an entire hour. But I LOVE music. It's an adventure for me. Honestly, I'd do it for free. I'm discovering new music, and being asked my opinion. Since I love it I do it almost every day and it comes pretty close to $100 in a month. It's like a break between facebook and chatting... Me time I (barely) get paid for.
