Did you know that simple table SALT has a great number of uses other than simply seasoning your food? There are sixty uses of salt, many of which you probably didn't realize.

apart from seasoning,salt containing iodine is very essential for the body to help prevent goitre.This condition is very prevalent in india.Government is providing help to poor,through its schemes,to provide iodised salt to the needy.
And another use of salt is to remove any bacteria on meat when washing it

Yes I do know that if there is stuff on your iron from using the
iron to hot, this what you do...get a paper towel, shake some salt
on it and just sit your iron the salty paper towel and just move
it back and forward...will take off every thing stuck on your iron..
I bet you didn't even know that one....

Salt is really useful not just for Kitchen use, but also anywhere in the house. When we ran out of Toothpaste I use Salt as a replacement for Toothpaste. I used it as a body scrub sometimes, when my skin needs some exfoliation.

I use salt To reduce oily face, put warm water in a spray bottle, then put 1 teaspoon of salt. Spray to the face when feels tired and greasy.

Salt is not only perilous to our life, but it is one of the basic components of which our body is made. Like marriage, the relationship amongst salt and your health is so knottily involved as to make them impossible to be separated or untied. Lacking salt, you could not exist for an instant.

There are some salt that use as body scrub.My office mate use to buy a yogurt salt.
