hahah,,am a girl so am not dare to kill hen.I ever tried to kill hen. First i hold the knife then i hold hen's neck.U know am crying before i do this.After i kill it i will cook that hen and make it as a food.So I think ur not cruel coz u kill hen for ur cook.

Hi Dear friend, wilcome to mylot, hope you new here, i also here from 5 weeks, you very very nice that you first hold the knife then you hold hen's neck. dont cry dear friend, be tiger for hen. and then cook the hen in tasty as a food.

During my teens my Mom had lots of chicken so whenever we like chicken we just had to catch one and kill and then cook. My mother was the one killing and we the kids were just watching. Now one time, my Mom went on vacation and we wanted to eat chicken. None of us knew how to kill chicken so I volunteered to do the killing. It was a big mistake for me to think that it is just easy to kill a chicken. When I was about to put the knife on the hen, I felt scared. I suddenly thought I could not do it. I felt sorry for the chicken and felt it would be so cruel of me to do that so I let her go. My siblings went crazy and they berated me. Hahaha!

I have never killed a hen, but I have seen other people kill them many times. It has nothing to do with cruelty, but with where you live. In this moment it is easier for me to buy chicken at the super. But if I want to cook a hen, I have to go to another place, buy it alive after feeling it to see if it´s fat enough and have it killed. When I was little, that chore was done by my grandmother.

I like chicken and I know many ways to cook it. Chicken is versatile and cheaper than other kinds of meat. It is also healthoer than red meat, or so they say. As for me, I eat all kinds of meat.
