Slow internet connection: Do you have the patient to wait the page?

I am glad we don't have that bad of a problem here. But I do know how you feel, and it's quite frustrating. We need to be patient, but if the problem is too much and it is wasting too much of my time, I'd rather just quit the internet and do more productive thing with my time.

Here are very slow in China and the fee for the internet use is very high. But as internet now become a very popular way to connect with people all over the world, it seems that very hard to get rid of it. I have suffer from the slow connection, and force to wait for the page to load.

this is what i really hate when im browsing the internet so whenever i experience it i chose not to continue unless i need to do important things on the internet i even tried modem stick too but it is really slow so i go back wireless i just do some clean up to my pc that i think maybe cause of the slow internet and works for me

I am really impatient to such things.Until and unless it is an important task for me i would not care much for that.I just don't want to waste time on such things.I prefer doing something productive in the mean time.

This is what i hate. I can't be patient to wait, its make me bore and eager. Sometime its happen and i don't have a patient, i close the internet. This normally happen in my ofice site which the internet connection is slow.

maybe try not to use a modem stick for internet access...

oh our internet connection has become a bummer too.. i think this is why i kind of lost interest for a time... so far. anyway... i think what you can do is bring up the concern with your provider, they should be able to let you know if there are issues, and if this is temporary or if you may need to decide if you need to get another service provider

I have a internet connection with the cell phone company i have. Its is not a good one either. Its slow and broken. Cant use the magicjack phone because of this. Cant play online games. Sometimes when the connection breaks i cant get back on and it will tell me there is no device. Then i have to uninstall and reinstall. Sometimes after all that it still wont work.

That sounds really irritating for you. Thankfully I have a fast Internet connection but I'm still facing problems when I log into My Lot and this is the only website I am facing problems with. There are times when I just forget about My Lot and I think to myself it's just not worth it. Still I never give up because I love this website and there's a lot to be learnt here from others. It's a shame regarding your own situation but all I would say is stick with it and hopefully in the future your Internet connection will be a whole lot better. Good luck. Andrew

Well, I though Indonesia, is a developed country now and much better to stay there than here in the Philippines. But internet connection here is much far better than in your country. Even if the connection here is sometimes disconnected due to calamities. The internet connection is fast and no problem about it...the only problem here is the connection due to signal because we are suffer more calamities. We are at the face of many storm and this really make signal being disrupted always...

Well,rarely often,though.If it's not that important and if all I want is to kill my time,lol.=) I also experience that and its irritating to wait for so long especially if you have a lot of work to do and your slow connection kills your time in doing other things.Slow connection in our school drives me nuts.Well,most probably because of the old computer that we were using,the connection is not really the problem.Only few are working properly,and I can count it with my hands.

I f I do not have another option I would just to finish some important stuff or projects. I will try to find some other alternative when I have some money to spent for a faster internet connection.

Well regarding your topic i am so frustrated if my net connection is slow in any day, so this reason i have 2 connection so whenever 1 is slow or not working i will use the same to perform my activity at net. No doubt i have also face the problem of slow net connection and sometime my 2 connection has also not working in some rare case, so whenever my net slow i just stop my working on net and shut down the pc because i didnot want to work in slow connection, as some time suppose in mylots i have reply some topic after written so many thing and when i post the same my net is not working, so this reason i just didnot want to work on that day....

Since today most of us use ADSL to access to the internet. So it shouldn't spend a long time loading the page. If it does, usually there is something wrong with the server or the website itself. I am impatient to wait since I get used to the fast internet speed already. I love China

I have absolutely no patience for slow loading pages on the Internet. Thankfully most of the time, unless it is a problem with the website itself, most of my websites really do load really at the blink of the eye. It is just something that is just going to bring me a lot of peace and a lot of joy when the Internet rather loads in a quick manner. I have had to deal with some slow Internet connection to say the very least. It was frustrating, but it was years and years ago. Especially when you are paying a pretty penny for a horrible Internet service to say the very least. I think that back in the day it was more common, but it does seem like it is still very common in some circles, the slow Internet service.

sometimes not but what can i do? i need to wait especially if i need to email reports. there are times that internet connection is down here and mostly its happening during afternoons. i don't know why maybe because many PCs here are connecting and using the connection. if the page won't really load then, i'll try to use the connection next day early morning because the connection here is faster in that time.

This is what I hate most when I am surfing the internet. I stop browsing the internet whenever the connection is slow unless I have a very important matter to do. I suggest to try other device that works better that modem stick. Happy mylotting!

I don't have patience either, I used to have a slow 1MB/s internet connection some years ago and it was making me angry, I just hated it. I was lucky and I found a cheaper internet connection which has a speed of 24MB/s and I surf the internet using 2 computers and 2 cell phones and it still runs fast.
