Hi Dassodils: In my case it happends just as you. I don't care too much about colors and their meanings specially because we don't celebrate Valentines here Anyway I just wear the clothes that I think they fit the best for me and not because of some probable meanings

I have heard about such colors before but have found it weird; coz what I only know about even as a child is people wearing red on Valentines. But I don't wear the color... only when there is an event on that same day that would require me to wear one.

Generally, I have heard that different colours can generate some feelings. I think that it's true that our mind can connect them with situations, for example the colour that you paint a room in your house can give you calmness etc.
I am not sure that the colour can represent if you are available or not though, when it comes to relationsips. I wear black all the time because it makes me look slim and I do believe in love.
I have friends that traditionally wear red on valentine's day every year, because they say it represents love. I find it a bit silly but at the same time it's also fun! And it makes them happy!

I do not know about the truth behind the colors, but then I do check on the people's dress color on valentines day. Apart from the fact that these might go wrong, it is something that is universal and people do dress according to their relationship status on this day. That's the thing about it! These are those little things follow even if they know that it is stupid and could be wrong! Its nice to be stupid sometimes;)

Well, I think we don't need to believe on those things. Though the dominant color of valentines is red. I know most of you will agree with me. But it doesn't mean that we will wear red color during that day. I think maybe because red symbolizes love that's why its normally associated with that special occasion. The end point is whether we wear red or blur or white, the most important thing during taht day is to give love and peace!

I like all other colors of the red spectrum expect red. Magenta, raspberry, rose, etc. Why do you say you don't believe in love? I hope that was just for shock value. I think green or blue would be nice. I don't care for black. Boring!

I don't believe on that.I just wear clothes that I'm comfortable with. Some other believe on that but what important is the love and feelings for each other.

For me maybe!! Many people believe that wearing color black don't believe in love..And mostly wearing red color is very in love with someone else..I't my personal opinion.:))

hello!
All I know is lovers should wear RED because it's the symbol of being inlove.. But the colors should not be the basis. For me couples should wear any colors they like as long as they have each other celebrating together this special day :)
