In a few months, I will be required to undergo an on the job training which is a prerequisite for us in order to graduate. As much as I stress myself out on what company shall I apply and what answers I will give on the interview, I also worry about what shall I wear before and during my on the job training.
I am sure they will require us to be in a corporate attire but I am not really sure what outfit will suit me and make me feel comfortable. Can any of you fashion experts give me some tips on what shall I buy for my interview and internship? I am 5 feet 2 inches high (sharing this information is kind of embarrassing :D), I weigh about 110 pounds and I am a woman. :)

Do you get TLC (the learning channel) on television? They have a program called "what not to wear" It's great for people that don't have any fashion talent.
I would recommend a suit (they're great for interviews) with the skirt at the knee. Also get a pair of trousers that will go with the blazer. Have the suit in a neutral color such as gray, brown, tan, black, navy. That way if you want to wear a print blouse with the suit you can. Having a blazer in the wardrobe is indispensable. As it can be worn with jeans too. Also a button down shirt. Find blouses that will work with the suit. Also conservative separates will work too, just not something that is too out there. Again, keep the skirts at the knee and the hem of the trousers at the top of the shoe. Stockings are optional now days, it used to be that you always wore stockings. If you can walk in heels (I can't I fall flat on my face if I do. None of my family was graceful) have a couple of pairs of heels in your wardrobe. Also dress flats when you don't want to over dress. Avoid jeans and tee shirts, they don't make a good impression. Also don't wear jingly jewelry. Don't wear mini skirts, they give the wrong impression. Also nice dresses that will work with the blazer would be great too. Don't go for the stuff that is "in" right now, select stuff that is more reserved and classic. Also try to carry a conservative handbag too, it finishes off the look and makes a great impression. After you get hired at a place you can see what the other people are wearing and can get a good idea of what is acceptable.
You could also have a suit in a color too, but nothing that reaches out and slaps you in the face or someone would say that if you got hit by a bus the driver is blind!!! If you have a favorite color opt for that because you will always be more comfortable in a favorite color.
Gee, I am sounding like "What Not to Wear"!!!
