I'm about to deliver my second baby in just two months time. But I can't hardly think of what to buy for my baby as her stuff since my obstetrician had been telling me that I'm having a baby girl. I don't know if I was just being excited that's why I couldn't think of what supposed to have for my baby. Can I have your suggestion? Any suggestions will be highly appreciated as long as they are not stupid. Thanks..

Thanks for taking time to leave a comment but I hope the next time you have it. It'll be long enough. :)

hi srbulsan, first let me congradulate you and your hubby on
your second child...I am sure most of the suggestions have
helped you a lot....so I won't repeat them but what I will say
is just make sure the obstetrician is positive its a girl and
if there are any doubt, don't do all pink...I would suggest
you go with some yellows, and lime/mint greens...just in case...
May you and your family continued to be blessed!!!!!!!!

What do you mean you can't think of things for your baby? I guess it depends on what you already have... A crib, a stroller, a high chair, diapers, wash clothes, body wash, lotion, more diapers, clothes, shoes, socks... There are so many different things you need!!! You better get started shopping!

Hi, Srbulosan, this is a wonderful news. I wanted to say Congrats! but in my country there is a superstition about congratulations given in advance. As to the shopping, you can begin with diapers. If I was you I would see first what I already have in the house. There is no need to buy a lot of things just to see that you already have some of them. You can make a list with all that you have.
Do you have the custom to share baby clothes that you don't need any more with relatives and friends? We do this, it is useful and saves a lot of money. Good luck!

Well of course she'll need clothes, diapers, wipes, stroller, car seat, monitors, so where for the baby to sleep like a crib or bassinet. Baby swing, or something to rock the baby to sleep or just when fussy, bottles if your bottle feeding or even just supplementing. Some colorful things to kind of look at even though most babies don't really notice them to much at first, music to help the baby sleep is always good. There are other baby things you'll need but you wont' need them right way. Oh a baby bath tub is always good or some nice soft baby wash clothes, and towels. blankets, a car seat cover was good from when I had my daughter around the winter time.

Try to visit stores that sell baby items so that you can choose what to prepare. In choosing clothes look for light colors because it looks dainty for a baby, for me I prefer white. The baby items usually are baby dresses, cap, mittens, socks, linens, diapers, feeding bottles, baby wipes, baby wash, hair brush with very soft bristles, facial towel for babies,etc.,. You can also ask the sales representative from the baby's section in a department store to help you with the things you need. Also if you have a prenatal booklet it usually has a list of what to prepare for the coming baby. Aside from that, you also prepare things for yourself (slippers, lingerie, clothes that you will wear after the delivery, maternity pads, soap, toothpaste, shampoo, toothbrush, comb, etc., and for the significant person whose going to assist you during the delivery. The baby's things must be placed in a separate bag from your'. and the bags should be prepared and are placed in a place where you can see it because when a woman is in labor the needed thing are forgotten and they usually run to the hospital without bringing the things needed.

You might already have a cot and a buggy that is right for a new born baby. If not you will need to buy these. You will need cot sheets and maybe blankets. You will need nappies for your baby too. You will need a nappy changing table. You might need a baby bath. I suggest you get two sets of body suits: one with long sleeves and one with short sleeves. They have a popper at the bottom for easy nappy changing. You could have a few sweet little dresses if you like. I know baby clothes come in sizes new born, 0 to 3 months, 3 to 6 months, 6 to 9 months and 9 to 12 months. Your baby girl will so grow and need bigger clothing. Good luck in the rest of your pregnancy.

Hmm, it's been eight years since my wife gave birth to our son. What I remembered was we made sure we had bought already a crib, blankets, a stroller, a baby wash tub, diapers... Whew, I'm having a hard time recalling the stuff we bought. Anyways, I'm sure you'll remember since this is your second baby already. Sometimes the excitement can really make us forget some things :)

HI there! Let me congratulate you on your second baby! I think you are just under pressure now that it is getting near. Why don't you calm down for a moment and think of those things you might need. Since she is your second baby, I bet you already knew the basic and important things which you have used to your first baby... List them down and buy some of it. Eventually you will remember some other things, so when you got the chanvce you can add them up and include it on your shopping list the next time around. Cribs, milk, diapers, pillows and baby dresses are very important, so I do hope you won't be able to forget to buy those things Wishing you a safe delivery!
