Do any of you mylotters make targets for how much money you want to earn online in a day?
I never do but I think as of today I am going to start, get up in the morning and decide on a target and make sure I hit that by the end of the day. I often come online and make a $ then stop for the day, but if I just kept it up it would be easy to make a little more and I think if I had a target I would definitely stick to it.
So for today my target is going to be $4. :)

I've never made $1 a day. I have several things to do. How much is the highest you have ever achieved? If you could make $4, wow, that's great.

I´m used to make around $3 to $4 a day with the time I give to my computer as money earnings go. It much depends if my downline is active or not. I exchange sites so that I can have active referrals and it usually worksd. If they are not active, I drop their site too, unless it is very good and I have already got referrals for that.. I´m only sticking to sites that pay through paypal and are international.

What do you think about exchanging site links to get active referrals? We could trade sites where we have been paid. I have earned enough for vacations each year for several years working at internet

I think having targets is a really good habit if we're serious in earning money. An earnings target is an important part of goal-setting. I myself have one but it's on a weekly basis since I can't be online everyday due to my full-time work as well as some offline money-making ventures I have :) And you actually got the most important thing about making targets, and that's sticking to it as best as you can. I mean, making targets is a useless endeavor if you don't stick to it, worse if you don't actually act on it :)

Hey sand87, till now i never thought of targets , may be because i am still a little new to online earning. But actually it is a good idea to get good earnings.
But for me even $3 to $4 is a big amount for a day, how do you manage this much earnings in a day.

It is really good when we have this plan to have daily earning targets so that we could able to estimate how much time we may go from the earning target we plan to accomplish. I hope you can earn $4 this day, and I hope you won't give up. Happy Mylotting my friend.

I do sometimes but I never stick to it or get there because I have too many other things to do. There's a garden to look after, a house to keep tidy, dishes to do, meals to prepare, animals to look after, laundry to wash and then there are my hobbies, extra cleaning tasks, the Internet, my volunteer job, meetings, shopping, cleaning my car...shall I continue? LOL. The thing is, there are many things in my life more important than myLot.

I don't have a earning target because my English is not good, I can't earn too much on net. I come here to improve my English, it will take a long time. My target is trying to make out each words here.
I admire you very much that you can achieve so high a goal, which is almost impossible to me. 0.4$ will make me happy.

good day samd87,
it is nice to hear that you have set an earning target. hence in this way, you are really trying and pushing yourself to do more effort and work more as well. in my end here, i already did that thing. that is setting a target goal for my online income. that as early as January 2012, i already set my earning target online. as also the reason why i am very eager to earn more. luckily, i was able to get and be affiliated on the sites that i wish to be a part. as a result, i was able to hit the target income that i have longed for last month. aside from the perseverance and hard work, the top most thing that i have done is prayer. thus, the strength, abilities, knowledge and wisdom that i am using to earn more is all coming from God. as He provides everything that i need. and believing, that the target income that i am longing for this month will also be given.
cheers and goodluck on your set target earnings.

Having targets can be easy but the problem there is, how will you earn that, right?
First of all, what sites do you earn online? can you share it with me? it's easy to have targets when you know how to earn it online. in mylot, we can't earn dollar a day, i can say, it's very hard. Unless you have qualities to do tasks which has large earnings in here. If you have easy jobs that you do online. please do share with me. thanks! ^_^

On line surveys is a good way to make money, put in getting paid for surveys in your search engine and see what you get, I use sites such as gratis points, mysurvey, global test market and surveyhead they all pay well.

There's nothing wrong with setting goals. As a matter of fact, it's probably a good way to achieve more, because if you set a goal, you will strive harder to achieve it than you would without it. That works for some people. It increases their productivity by using a sort of "forced discipline" on themselves.
I set goals for myself in some things but I never do it on MyLot. I use MyLot more for enjoyment rather than earning money, so I don't really want to force myself to use it. I am on here when I can and I feel like taking a break from other things. Well, that and I like to express my opinion on things.
Good luck to you though. I hope you achieve all your goals.

hi samd87,
That is actually a great idea to have a goal on what we want to achieve both online and in general, and setting your earning target for a day could give you more urge to work harder and do better. I used to set goals on how much to earn on a certain online activities I made. Earning a dollar in a day usually makes me so happy back then and that costs me a lot of time and effort to do. Being able to learn a lot of things online(such as blogging) I learned that we should always have a goal and time set with the things we want to accomplish. Right now, I am earning $1 to $5 a day without even doing a lot of work or sometimes not doing anything at all. Which is enough for me to have a monthly income aside from my day job. It can be small amount right now but I started earning 2 years ago with 5-10 cents per day. Again, it all falls down on how dedicated we are in accomplishing are goals.
Good luck to you and Happy Lotting! :)

Good luck with that $4 goal for today. I made over $3 once but never $4. I knew someone who made $5 once but she had referrals too. I think you will be working 24/7 trying to make your goal happen. You'd probably have to make about 20 discussions and then keep them up by making long responses to your commenters... it's possible that you could make it... but it would probably burn you out quickly.
I used to try to make $2 a day and made it sometimes, but I don’t worry about it anymore. I just try to do enough to get to payout each month.

Recently,i thought of this but later changed my plan. Here the money which we earn/post is not static but variable. Then i decided to quit the thought and plan differently.I now target at the number of posts. The more i post, the more i make. But at the same time i prefer quality and quantity.I decided to be as descriptive as possible and at the same time concentrate on the quality.I think this works better than my earlier plan.
In mturk i have fixed up ,my taregt to a dollar/day.Sometimes i make more, while sometimes i make less. But on an average its upto a dollar/day.As an indian its hard to reach high targets as we have very minimal opportunities online.I wish i could make more money.
Sometimes i don't have the time to log into either of these sites and hence make nothing.I worry alot on that day and have to make up for that later.Later,it becomes a tough task and i fail mostly.
It is great that u have aimed high.Maintaining a target is always good.We need to stick to them, otherwise they are futile.

I don't really have a target. You may have a point though. Setting a target makes the goal more achievable but in a way constricts your experience. I just try to learn more everyday, no matter how small or large, learning something makes me better of.
