Hi everyone, I own and oldie Pavilion DV6000, and I`m looking forward to upgrading it, so I hope you guys can help me do it the right way. The system spec are as follows: AMD Mobile Sempron 3500+, nForce 430 Chipset Controller, nVidia GeForce Go 6150 video card, 1 gb ddr2 667 Mhz ram. Now, I want to know what is the maximum amount of ram that I can upgrade to, and the best CPU I can upgrade to. From what I`ve read I think it`s socket S1g1, so perhaps a dual core maybe it supports. I`m waiting for opinions from people who actually know these info, but others as well. Thanks in advance.

i think you can upgrade your RAM if you are looking for lower fetch cycle of an instruction as per dual core is considered depends on what actually you are working with . i mean operating system and application softwares

I want dual-core cpu, because anything is better than this lazy sempron. Also multi-tasking is what I do on daily use. But I'm not sure if it supports the Turion 64 X2 TL-56, and 2x2gb ddr2 667 mhz ram memory upgrade. So I was looking for someone who is informed related to this subject or anyone who has other opinions related to this upgrade.
