My boyfriend and I have been waiting for this movie to come out and it finally came out yesterday on our 21 months "monthiversary" lol.
We went last night to go see it and I liked it. The movie had some funny parts as well as a few touching parts mixed in with a few OMG! moments.
Overall I really liked it and I thought it was a cute story..and it was even based on a real couple.
I really like to see cute love movies like that. They remind me of being with my boyfriend and I'm glad I got to see it with him.
Yes, the movie was predictable in certain ways, but most movies like that are. It was entertaining to me and I enjoyed it.
Did anyone else see it or is planning to?

I want to see it. With movies like this, I go into expecting a happy ending. It does have a happy ending, right? As soon as I saw the preview for it I thought it would be a hit. And it was number one at the box office. But tell me if they don't end up together because I don't want to waste my money if they don't.

It does have a happy ending. There are a lot of bumps along the way but it did have some cute, funny parts. I really enjoyed it and I was relieved when it ended nicely for them.

I kind of wanted to. But is it funny too? I like romantic comedies, not just romantic movies because they tend to get a little TOO sentimental for me... But I like the girl in it, I can't remember her name, but I've seen commercials for it and she's a really good actress. So, it's worth seeing then? I might wait until it comes out on DVD but I will add this to my 'to see' list!! Thanks!!

It had some funny parts but it definitely wasn't a romantic comedy. More like a love story with a major wrench thrown in the mix to make things a bit hard on the couple. There were funny parts added in and it was nice to have a somewhat serious movie with a few light hearted jokes to make you laugh

my husband and I went to watch this movie last night too. It was a very timely movie to watch for Valentines Day I liked the movie too, shed a few tears because of how "Leo"'s heart got brokenI don't really mind if the ending was predictable, after all, it is suppose to have a happy ending, but I really loved the way unconditional love is portrayed in the movie. I really admire the guy who proved his love to his wife twice

yes, most love movies are predictable just because they usually end up having a happy ending. I don't mind though. the moie was really good and Leo was so dedicated and I got sad to watch him give up. luckily, things went in his favor and they ended up meeting each other and she basically did a repeat of her life before the accident.

These are one of those movies that come up on 'on-demand' on TV. And during weekends when I've already seen everything, this might come into consideration whehn there is nothing else to watch.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it with your BF though!
I think I like Rachel McAdams.

it was nice. Rachel mcadams is pretty good. I like her in the notebook and mean girls. Channing Tatum is also pretty good in this movie.

To be honest, the love storyes are certainly not the kind of movies that i prefer. I am more than another liker of the horror genre. However, sometimes I love to see the movies of that kind, along with a good friend of mine, and I must say that most of the time, I remain satisfied.
From what you told me, however, described this product I will see it when it will be shown in Italian cinemas.
I just hope that the title may not be translated, so I go on the safe side of what I will see.

I like just about every genre except for sic fi. I love horror, but lately the movies haven't really been living up to my expectations of them being scary. Overall, I really enjoyed the vow and thought it was pretty good.

I hate to be the debbie downer on this thread because I really wanted to like this movie, but it just didn't live up the expectations that I have developed for this type of movie based on others like it, such as "The Notebook", "Dear John", etc. I saw "This Means War" (Reese Witherspoon) the same night, and enjoyed it significantly more that "The Vow". However, I tend to enjoy Rom-Coms more than purely romantic movies though. Overall, I've seen better, but I did appreciate the fact that it is based on a real couple.

Yeah, I don't think it's on the same level as the notebook and dear John, but it did entertain me and I enjoyed it. It was cool how it was based on a true story.

I wanted to see this when it was in the theater but didnt get to so I was really excited when I was at the library the other day and saw this movie was available to watch. I was the first one to borrow it they had just gotten it in. Rachel Mcadams is such a good actress and channing tatum is gorgeous. I dont recall him from any other movies but he did a really good job with acting in this movie. This was a really amazing movie but was really heartbreaking. The ending wasent what I had hoped. I had so hoped she would regain her memory but she didnt. I saw at the very end of the movie that it was inspired by a true story and the woman never did regain her memory but the couple wound up back together and had two children. Sad but wonderful at the same time.

My boyfriend and I really liked it. I also thought that she'd get her memory back and remember her husband so I was kind of disappointed when she didn't. But I was definitely relieved when she started taking the same path all over again by wanting to go to art school, etc. I just really wished they showed them really getting back together, but at least they hinted at it.
I really love Rachel Mcadams and Channing Tatum. Both are from some of my favorite Nicholas Sparks movies- The Notebook and Dear John. I think they did a good job with their roles together in this movie.

That movie is on my Top 10 to see!!! I'm glad to hear that it was done in a pleasurable way!!! There's nothing worse than a great storyline done in a screwed up fashion!!! The fact that it's a true story should make it a wonderful movie!!!

I think it was done nicely and I liked it. But don't go off my opinion. I've found that we all like different things and some people may like what others hate. But for me, this movie was good and I thought it was really cute.

I never accept one person's opinion as the gospel; however, I do find it encouraging that you enjoyed it!!! Also, I never go to a theater to see a movie anymore. I almost always wait until it comes out on DVD. By then, I've heard plenty of opinions. I can think of only one movie in the last 10 years that I just couldn't wait to see & I splurged & watched it on pay-per-view...then I wished I had waited until it came out on DVD!!!
