iPad Doesn't Have a Manual = Statement

Okay...so I don't own an iPad myself, but I do get the chance to play around with my friend's once in a while. But I recently discovered that they don't come with a manual. A little late on the uptake here I know, but I (or anyone in my immediate family) have never owned one. This entire time of playing around with my friend's iPad though, I hadn't realized they didn't come with a manual until I chanced upon it on this site called quicktipsforyou.webs.com. I know that Apple is probably making a statement that the iPad is just that easy to use, but really? I get the feeling that people are missing out on a lot of things their iPads could do...more hidden bits than what is immediately present. Thoughts?

I bought an iPad for my son last year and I also hadn't noticed that there wasn't a user manual until a few months later :) The manual actually can be downloaded in their website although I haven't also checked that out. When I need to know something about the iPad, I just call up my friends. Maybe Apple's minimizing the use of paper.

Really? I'll have to remember that it can be downloaded off their site if I ever get an iPad. And it definitely could be that they're also focusing on minimizing the use of paper. I'm so used to electronics coming with a manual that I was caught off guard. haha But when I think about it, I probably would have just dove in and started doing things. It's just interesting that the lack of a manual can also make a statement. XD

I think it could really be a statement of some sort from them. Well, a lot of companies are going paperless. Why not them too. :)

They don't have a Manuel because it is that easy. If you want to figure out how to use it then you should search it on the internet or go to a barnes and noble and go to iPads for dummies. Apple wants you to experiment with their products.
