This was just released: http://gma.yahoo.com/whitney-houston-iconic-pop-star-dies-48-014318782--abc-news.html Although I am very saddened, I cannot say that I am surprised. We have lost a great talent much, much too soon. All her very public stuggles may have finally gotten the best of her. Every time I think of her I see her in "The Body Guard" singing "I Will Always Love You"...what a voice! That is my favorite Whitney song, which is your favorite?

Her talent was unmeasurable; a loss like this makes you appreciate the recorded word in song.

roberten ..It's so sad that so many 'stars' have such a difficult time emotionally. It's really tragic.. I am with you..of all the songs I have ever heard her sing I will always love you is by far my favorite..when she hits those high notes in the chorus it is magnificent!! God Bless Whitney and her friends and family and fans..she had many admirers
