It hurts to find out that friends block me to write on their walls.

Several friends of mine on facebook do not give me access to write on their walls. This really hurt, you know. Do you know why these people don't allow their friends to access their walls. They must have set the privacy setting to allow only certain people.

Hi yanzalong,
First let me ask you... are they your real friends? Or just facebook friends but are actually strangers whom you have not even met before... if they are your friends, then I guess you can try asking them. Maybe they tried how the settings work and mess it up only. If you find they are not private to common friends you both have, then I guess they really intentionally set it private for you... Hmmm time to delete these friends.

They are real friends. They have moved to another city. I haven't met them for a long time. Yes, I think I will let them know about it. I just haven't got time yet. Thank.

It hurts but I am not angry. For example, I donn't know your fb name, it's ok if you don't want to be added, bro. I am beginning to understand that people have their own right not to be disturbed. Do you think my writing on your wall is disturbing?

Yes, some people just want their walls to be clean and that's why they don't allow others to post anything on it. It's common and u should not feel bad. U can always write on your wall, stating their name and should they ever read it, they would know. The only option is via PM. It's not always necessary to write on other people's wall when it's supposed to be for them to share stuffs. In some cases, u might be a new friend to them, and they need to know u better before u are allowed access to write.

Sanitary, may I write on your wall? Lol. I don't even know your facebook name. If you'd let me know, then there would be some fun to have as many facebook friends as possible, wouldn't it?

To some people fb is private and they will use it that way. Perhaps only for family. Others don't like to add their family, other add everyone no matter who they are.
The only one who can answer this question are those friends of yours. They can tell you in what way they use their fb (or perhaps not at all anymore like me).
Personally I would not care or feel hurt if they would not give me access. I don't need fb to stay in touch with my friends.

Thank for the info. You are right. I am now using fb to make money. The more friend I have the more money I will grow there. Should you be interested, I'll pm you.

I know of people that have their walls set to only allow posting from certain people, or they have you in a friends category that does not allow posting. I don't worry about it at all. If someone does not want to hear (read) what I, or others have to say, no problem...but...they will never know what they might have missed!

I agree with you. Who knows my posting on their wall would generate a lot of dough, right? To me, personally, there is nothing to hide on facebook. All comments on my facebook are just trying to pull my leg, bro.

sometimes the reason for blocking out is maybe there were certain secrets or private matters that you may know, that your friend does not want to share with his other friends list if in case you mention about it unintentionally.
it's hard though coz sometimes you say one thing with no malicious meaning and some of your readers would give it a thousand insignificant rant...

Shall we also block them? Or perhaps delete them from the list? But, no. Now I know that the more friend we have the better we will be. Facebook now has a monetiser application that will pay facebookers if they join this program.

Certain people still wanted their own set of privacy even if you were a friend or just in a friend list. Lets admit that some in your friends list wasn't a friend at all, you just accepted their invitation that's why they were in your list. We all knew that in facebook once you were in the friends list you can have full access in a persons account. Maybe that is why some people including your friend still tend to get some sort of privacy. You can send them personal message regarding that, don't feel dissapointed right away.

Oh yes ! But at the same time I try to understand them. Maybe they have reason that they cannot tell. Or they just want for them to post in your wall? I have a friend once that they blocked us from posting something on their wall. But later she explained and everything is alright. Don't worry, Im sure your friend has reason.

Yes, I can understand that. They might have had someone posting messages or photos which they did not like. So from this experience they decided to only allow certain people who are close to them.

Its not anymore surprising that there are friends who offensively blocked yo without any noticed from them and will leave you onto wondering why they had made such actions. Is there anything that you have done wrong and this basically made you so upset. But hey! Who cares? There are still a lot of people out there to make friends.:)

I am now getting used to it and understand that they have their own right not to be disturbed. For me, personally, facebook is just like a fun place where we can communicate and bridge more friendship. Right?
