How do you drink water for health purposes?

My grandfather taught me the technique of Drinking Water. If it is timing in the procedure it is effective. 1. 1 Glass of water after you wake up; Help activates internal Organ: 2. 1 Glass of water after taking a bath; Helps lower your blood pressure: 3. 2 glass of water, 1/2 hour before meal; Will help your Digestion: 4. 1 glass of water before you sleep; Will help avoid stroke or Heart Attack at Midnight. My grandfather died at 95 years old. I just post it, if you try, nothing to lose. How about you my friend, how do you drink water for an effective health purposes.

another nice information. however, i find it hard to drink water promptly after waking up. do i have to gargle first, or brush my teeth first, before drinking a glass of water after waking up? if that is not required, then it would be very hard for me as i would only gag.

Hi bingskee, Me too I would first have to gargle before drinking water. But I still can't drink water in the morning. It should always have to be hot milk, choco drink or coffee first... Hi suny, Really?!? antibiotic!?!

Wow great to know that your grandfather spent almost a hundred age of his life on Earth. Such a strong man he was! Thanks for this great information of the health benefits/purposes of drinking water. I will try to do #1 and #3... These are usually the one that I can't often do.

It's not bad! I do just about that, except I drink two glasses when I wake up to hydrate the body. When I exercise I drink one glass before, one during and one after. Water is one of my doctors, Dr. Water.

Yeah water really essential for our body. I don't have problem drink two litters a day if I was not busy. But when I really busy I tend to forget to drink because in hurry doing my job. I think if I follow your instruction I will drink more water I think. But sometimes is easier to drink something that's had taste in it like syrup, tea, or fruit juice.

I try everyday not to forget drinking water when I wake up and before sleeping; the rest, I just try to fulfill my '8 glass of water per day.'

It depands on much things what is good to do, because if you live in a very hot region or in a very cold region it is very much different how much you have to drink. I always drink some water at my meal in the evening and the rest of the day i have other things like ice tea,juice, energy drink, chocolate milk, ect. But i think i have to drink more water instead of other things. Thank you for still nice discussion!

good info.but i read somewhere that drinking too water may cause minerals of body to dilute and decrease per ml of blood.Doctors now a days are suggesting to listen to our body and drink water when we are thirsty.

I don't really time or schedule my water intake, but I do drink more than eight glasses in a day. The reason why I do so is because I have asthma and my doctor recommends that I drink more fluids so that I don't develop a build up of phlegm in my lungs. I don't count as to how many glasses I drink anymore, but I do know that I drink a glass before eating meals and another glass after. I also drink water after my cup of coffee. But there are wonders to be had in drinking a lot of water. It's also amazing that your grandfather has given reasons as to why there is a need to drink that much water in a day.

Hello my friend, I absolutely believe on that because I am a water drinker. I drink each morning (from bed)1 liter and each meal and before going to bed. I would never drink any medicine whenever I would have coming fever or cough,I only drink lots of water the way I usually do and those fever and cough goes away... That's the way how I treated water on my self everyday... Mobhomeir here..

Hello, no doubt your grandfather is genious one. I like to drink one glass of water after wake up. But I listen we must not drink water till half an hour of meal untill we need it too much. Cold water slow down digestion.

I drink water for water therapy, that is why I rarely catching colds and cough this cold weather. I drink plenty of water maybe 2 liters a day as being advised by my doctor.

This information is very usefull to keep someone healthy, but i drink water as and when feel my self thirsty, but the information which is provided by your grandafather and shared by u on my lot will be very usefull for othrs. water plays a important role in our body mechanism, it helps in digestion, flow of blood etc.

You can simply have it without doing any technique. It's really essential as they compose 70% of our body. So drink a lot of water and be refreshed.

My drinking habits are not so good . Sometimes I realized that I was drinking less than 2 glasses of water per day and it is not enough. I really need to change this. I know that everyone of us should drink more than 1,5 liter of water per day. It can be a good recipe for longer life. Thanks for sharing this stuff, I should try it, propably it will be working.

I drink 2 liters of water a day. Then i'll drink juice or milk and 1 can of soda. And have a glass of water before bed. This is some good info though, thanks for sharing. I may try this effect too but like I said I usually just drink 2 liters a day and call it good.That's what your body requires any how is 2 liters a day of water.

Hello, Thank you fOr sharing this because honestly i am a having a hard time to drink water. But i will try this out if it will really help me because this sounds really interesting. I am trying to drink 8 glasses everyday but it seems no hoPe for me because i need this for my skin. It got dry. So, my doctor told me that i should drink water everyday.

Interesting info although I doubt it will help against a heart attack at midnight. THere are not many people who have that at midnight. Most heart attacks are at other moments of the day. I drink as much water as I can to detox my body and if I think I have more toxic in my body I drink more. I hope this way to have less problems with my allergies but I am not sure if it helps.

Me i use to drink atleast a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day, 2 glass upon waking up, 2 glasses before taking a bath and 2 glasses before eating and 1-2 before sleeping, the more you urinate the more toxins will go out in your body..and the other glasses of water i drink everytime a get thirsty'',
