This is one I can not pass on, she was a big help to me in my bad times she would give me hope and inspiration to carry on when it was so bad, I would listen to Whitney and knew I can carry on and I will get through, I am strong and I will get through
The one Song that I played very often 'ONE MOMENT IN TIME' this song got me through a lot of terrible times, hurt and Days of not wanting to carry on
R.I.P Whitney, look after your Girl from above, lead her the right way
We will always love and miss you Dear Heart, your Voice will live forever
You where making a come back, but it was not meant to be your beautiful Voice will now be heard in Heaven and in our Heart

Hi gabs
I remember watching The Bodyguard and her song - We Didnt Know!(you know the teen college days)! She was a great performer and above all, a much better human being. Not a great fan of hers but yes, she was one I admire.
Surely she will be missed by millions of her fans and would continue to stay live in our hearts.
RIP Whitney Houston.

Hiya Gabs, long time eh, missed Gissi, how is he? When I heard about Whitney Houston I couldn't believe it, what a damn shame, a devastating blow, she was a wonderful singer, had so much talent, and very beautiful too, so, so young, that is the crying shame. I loved her music, still do, and have cds in the car, my favourite song of hers was so emotional, and very apt. Yes she truly had a beautiful voice, and will be deeply deeply missed by all her fans and the world has lost a wonderful person.

omg, yes. i hadnt even heard of it till i got on here. im so surprised that my kids didnt tell me. I know what you mean. dont let it get you down so badly. i know years ago, i quit smoking once and my mom was supposed to stop with me. but i smelled it on her a week later and i thought, if she cant i cant. now 24yrs later, i find i can!! to bad i didnt have faith then. anyway, i hope you can still feel encouraged by her. she should have listened to her own song. she may have overdosed like MJ.

Hi Bunny
Yes I will always be encouraged by her no matter what she did in the end as she must have been very traumatized to fall into it
I think it sounds more like an accident as they are saying that she was found in the bath under the water, the say is that she might have collapsed and drowned
It is so sad I would have loved to have seen her make her come back

Hi gabs.... I'm shocked beyond belief that this is true! What is happening with our famous people?! We're losing so many of them while they're still so young. It's so tragic and a lot of the deaths are preventable which makes it all the more harder to accept. I know I'll never forget her!

Heyya gabs! She was certainly so talented and moving to her listeners. I grew up on her music. I heard that she was preparing for a comeback this year. Too bad..i was looking forward to that very much. She has been through a lot and I wanted to see her back in action.
Hope everything is well with you and it's great to see you on.

I'm still in shock over her dying.
The song that got me through a lot of hard times is where she sings about believing in yourself. "I Believe" I think the name of the song is?

This is truly a sad news for all of us who really admired her. I listened to her music a lot when I was growing up and I really, really loved her movie, The Bodyguard, where she sang her timeless hits like "I Will Always Love You". She has that great voice that gives you chills when you listen to her inspiring songs. My favorite song would have to be "Try it Own My Own", very inspiring and great lyrics. We will surely miss her voice but her music will live on.

It's been an exausting week for me with two of my favorite people gone at once! Whitney and Peter Breck. You say "Peter who?" He was on The Big Valley during my formatting years. Both will be terribly missed by me.
