How many of us will close out door once we found out that the person who stand in front of the door is a salesman? I do not know about you but for sure I am of them. Why do I have to treat him or her like that? I used to be like them before and hell yes I do understand their feeling. Some salesmen really can make money and some really need luck to hit their target. At one point, the money is really motivating us as a salesman and at another point the managers are waiting for you to bring in the money. See, most of the salesmen are being squeeze till the last drop of their sweat. But why I still ignore them even though I was one of them last time. Maybe I just hate it when they in the effort to get the sale, they tend to be too pushy and aggressive. What is your opinion about this topic? Why do you say so?

I don't even open the door. I have a note (big one) at my frontdoor that I don't buy at the door, I don't give money and I am not interested in changing my religion. It works great already since years. I don't like people who try to force me into something I don't want. If I want to buy something I will visit a shop or perhaps buy it online. My house is private for me and my kids I don't want strangers in it.

I think you've actually had given the reason why. That some salesman are too pushy and aggressive just to close a sale. My very first job was in sales. One thing we teach our sales reps then was not to be pushy when doing a sales pitch, especially if it's a cold call type of selling. We emphasize it because a lot of us know how people get irritated by pushy salespeople. I do understand the plight of salespeople, but only those who know how to properly conduct sales pitches and not those pushy types. Pushy salespeople aren't sincere in their sales pitches and I would also abruptly cut whatever sales pitch he's trying to put on me.

I don't like pushy salesman. The ones who can't take no for an answer and bug me to the end. I do buy from them if I like the items but that doesn't me he/she has to has to be pushy. That's totally annoying. Even if I did like the items, I'll just turn down the offer and walk away like I didn't saw them.

You said the reason yourself, in order to make sales these sales people can become very pushy and aggressive towards you. So, I guess this is the reason people do not like to deal with them much. I find it very irritating and annoying when a salesperson continues to try and sell you the product even after you have clearly told them that you are not interested in buying their product. I hate it when they don't give up. I won't change my mind and buy something if they continue to say the same thing again and again...They need to know when to stop
