Yes, for Indian cricket fans...Unforgettable
Dhoni's shot for six in the last over today against Aussies was as dramatic as was the six which he made in the World Cup, and on both occasions he bring back his team on the grounds of victory.
He waited till the end to do that!
He said himself, let the bowlers get tired first...
anyways, I won't forget this "GREAT SHOT" of Dhoni...He was great today.
Striking Indian Skipper
Friends, did anyone see the match?

Hi nishant
So you left your Sunday for a game of cricket on Tele Bad. You should have taken bhabhiji out and have had some pav bhaji... more exciting than Indian cricket
I dont have any interest in Indian Cricket, I dont have a television set and also I dont have my wife here today.... Too many reasons to miss that match
Seriously, I wasnt even aware they were playing today.

Same as you buddy,
I also did not know about it until I switched on the TV and started surfing channels...It was about 40-something runs in 30 balls...
As far as ma'am is concerned, she had her outing yesterday evening. Furthermore, today was not off for me...
I already know you don't watch cricket, but really the last over of this match was extremely entertaining..

The dramatic six and the inexplicable no ball that followed allowed India to win. Dhoni had till then done everything to avoid a win. Gambhir has openly said that he would not have left it to the last over, do we see a team dissent here?
Hope they don't start sniffing a match -fix here, the no ball came out of the blue.
The message is that all is not well with this Indian team but world cricket needs team India to do well. If Indian cricket lovers turn away from cricket the game of cricket will suffer very badly. So BCCI and ICC should take necessary measures to ensure that too much cricket is not played and whatever cricket is played is played in the right spirit.
T-2o is indeed electric and a great spectacle but it will surely devour test cricket and ODI cricket. Even the players seem to be favoring one format over the other.

Gambhir is correct in his thinking....even I too have the same mentality....
But what about Dhoni???...he is always dramatic in ending a match!
You have very rightly voiced the concern about the format of the game, I have no idea regarding this....I think, I should start a new discussion....

Well! well ! well ! Finally i see the indian player is hunger for win the match which last by indian captain dhoni with his ining, which seem is slow but the match wining inning, no doubt he finished the world cup match with six but this match six is so important because they win aus. in aus...
No doubt today match indian player fielding is superb on the other hand aus has missed so many chance to collect the bowl correctly and giving indian player to run the mistake..
One thing more which seen in today match is Dhoni while in field look more aggressive than before, they continuous talking to the player and gives so many instruction which was missing in 1st match with aus..
So i thing now india team has good chance to win the series...

REALLY, "aus. in auss..."
At a time, it was clearly seeming that the match was getting egoistic.
It was the matter of confidence and courage...
and as you say, Dhoni was agressive in the field, I saw him a little bit under-confidence in the fourth- and third-last overs....
Eventually, he regained his courage and became, I should say, over confidenced as he was caught somewhere in the field on the very next ball....
YES, LUCK WAS WITH HIM!
Many many thanks for predicting India as the winner of series....

Yes, I saw the match and Dhoni's performance was good today where he hit that huge sixer which was a repeated scene of World Cup 2011 Final.

It's great to watch the caption taking the risk in his head, and lead the team to win. Untill this day the Best shoot of dhoni is World cup final six. But now this one is very huge, after very long frustration thoughts to the caption is come to an End from this Six.

Really, he was in a perplexed position...Team was not winning any matches and his bat was silent...with this performance, must have gained a lot of confidence for the future matches of this series.

I didn't aware of the match but when i woke up so late in mid day and then i came to know that there was match as i was in collge hostel in my friend room.
As i came to know about the match i turn the mobile to check the score and it was almost all over. only 8 ball was going to bowled and INDIA need 13 runs to win with 6 wickets already gone. Dhoni was in there. Next resher, i saw quick 2 wickets fall and the target still was there. Then sudden sound rose in hostel i rereshe again i found dhoni hit six and that was great. As you say it was memorable and i mean it would be. I didn't see the match so i can't comment more but i feel good that Dhoni made the runs and bring victory.

Great Rajeev!
I am sure, you still enjoyed the thrill....
You cannot say that you did not witness the match. Yes, you did as you get connected to it when 8 balls were still to be thrown....really they are "real-fast bowlers"....Did you see Ashwin???... his eyes...YOU DIDN't...I know from you response...
Really, Dhoni was great yesterday....on the peak of his confidence....NOTHING is IMPOSSIBLE!

hmmmm 13 off the last 6 deliveries which turned into 12 off 4 deliveries.a nail biter indeed.
may be if dhoni had not taken 20 balls for 2 runs, the equation wouldn't had been this bad, isn't it?
as for making bowler tired and winning it in the last over,he didn't retain strike in the last over.
what if ashwin hit the first ball stright to bowler, get bowled the next ball, then zaheer getting out in another 2 deliveries, what dhoni would have done?
being dramatic at the price of indian victory?
i dont think so.
why didn't he take risk earlier and let either raina or jadeja finish the match?
a man ,who won the match for india, who came at the 35th over when india needed 92 off 96 deliveries, hit only 3 shot in his entire innings all came in the 50th over, one being the six-shot.
if he is such a finisher,if he had the capacity, why didn't he leave it to the last?
must be the captain Dhoni rubbing off on the batsman Dhoni who always things for the last.
my first impression on seeing the six was jubilance which quickly turned into annoyance for waiting till last over to hit it.
call it whatever one want but it doesn't change the fact that Dhoni manipulated the match situation so when and if india wins,he will be the one most talked about instead of gambhir or any other player.
no sugar coating there.a new low for dhoni.

To add something to your nice topic , i would like to mention the another important six which Dhoni hit to win India series in WI,it came after India lost in t20 world cup and they were not in good form overall that time too.I wish that this inspiring shot will bring India back in good form, enough to win this important tournament.

I agree with you nishant. It was indeed a great shot, a record breaking shot. In Adelaid long on boundary is longer than that of square boundary and much longer than that of any other ground in the world. Players find it difficult to hit sixes on these Australian grounds as was found out by Kohli and Raina both got out trying to hit sixes. Those would have been sixes on grounds any where in the world. Dhoni not only cleared the boundary but sent the ball deep in the spectators gallery. That must have been one of the longest hit ever.
