That is the reality of capitalism, I think. For century long, we all familiar with the brand name of Kodak, from its disposable films to digital camera until now. In the latest news, Kodak announced its official retreat from the digital camera market, since they can't stay competitive with their competitors such as Sony, Canon, LG etc......
The truth is, the fitness will survive under capitalism, and if you can't provide the best, reliable products to consumers, you will be out of the game. Also, in modern days, we don't rely on digital camera to take digital photos anymore. What about those smart phone, and Ipad, they all provide high quality digital photos.

I heard that they are getting out of the camera business. That is the sad part for them. Like you said, the are known for making cameras. But I did hear that they will continue making printers. But I also think that it is a matter of time before they sell out all together.

I am not surprised to it. Actually Kodak broke already. There are many famous digital camera companies and Kodak can't have a competition to them. I don't know who will buy Kodak digital camera. Especially its price is not nice and it doesn't have cool features.
