Wow, Enola! Congratulations on becoming a grandma! I'm very glad to hear that the baby's arm is doing so well now. I hope they all have nothing but happiness. I also hope your 17-year-old does well with her impending motherhood.
I found out just before Christmas that my first grandbaby will arrive around August 1st so I'm super excited. My son is 30 so I'd say it's about time he became a father. LOL The momma-to-be is about to turn 25 so I'd say they're both ready for this. Besides, she already has a 4-year-old from her first marriage. They make such a cute family. I've been super-busy knitting, crocheting and sewing little baby things and plan to have the baby shower at my house sometime in July.
I'm also quite busy making some novelty gift-type things I've invented and have started selling them. The pace is beginning to pick up so I've been really busy trying to keep the stock ahead of the sales. Eventually, I hope to be able to hire people to help.
Somehow I hope to make time to start some of my veggie seeds for this year's veggie garden. Some things need to be started inside this month in order to ripen before the end of the growing season. Luckily, most things don't need to be started until March or even April but I'll need to find time for them, too. I don't mind, though. I love doing everything I've been doing.

That's what I'm looking forward to the most, holding the baby in my arms. The last baby I held was 23 years ago (my friend's baby) and I'm so ready to hold my own grandbaby. (I already have some of my "grandma supplies". LOL)
Good luck with the move to a bigger home. I hope everything goes smoothly.

Hello enola. It is good that you kept an open mind for your 17 years old especially because she decided to keep a child when she IS a child herself.
I couldn't imagine having a baby even now and I am 24 so I can't really imagine how she is feeling.
It is good to see you got back here I did miss you.
So what's new for me ? Well I got my driver's licence in January, but of course there is not car to drive really. I haven't manage to get a job and I can't say I am very convinced I want a crappy one at the moment seeing how they pay really really low. I wish there was some easy way to move away to England but no chance of that in the immediate future.
The snow is really killing us over here, I spent 2 hours for cleaning my dad's parking spot and the alley for our flat apartment block.

Congratulations on the news your daughter got married on the day of her baby shower. It is a shame about her baby's messed up arm. I saw a program the other day called 'One Born Every Minute'. In that a lady giving birth had an awful time when her baby's head came out and then the shoulders got stuck. The baby's arm got broken when the consultant managed to get the baby out. It was a medical emergency you see. Good luck with your grand child's arm. It is surprising to hear that your seventeen year old daughter is pregnant. Yes, she is rather young but she can become an excellent mom. Good luck to her and the rest of your family.

Thank you the baby is doing great he moves his arm real good it got stuck on her pelvic bone coming out an the doctor yanked an to get him out but thankfully it looks like it will work out sad thing about my 17 year old is it seems like out of every 5 girls in this town are having babies by 16 they think having a baby is just so much fun an shows like teen mom sixteen ,an pregnant an so on making it look easy to have a baby makes these kids want one to I always told my kids you don't see them change diapers , feeding the bay or the hard work that goes into having a child they just make it look fun now with my 17 year old she helps take care of her nephew so she knows about its not just games so I am not worried about her TO MUCH
