I was saddened upon hearing of Whitney Houston's death. Her music touched me and so many people in the world. I really loved her songs, One of them is "On my own", which speaks of standing up despite the odds, and believing in yourself. Another is "I will always love you" which is a Theme song of the Movie The Bodyguard (in which she starred in with Kevin Costner). This song conveys Love even in distance, a love that lasts forever, And as for me a self-confessed sucker for romance, I would naturally be drawn to this song, hehehe. Anyways, can you share to me Whitney Houston songs that you love?

I felt sad too when I learned of her demise. Her songs have great impact on me. I've been listening to her songs since I was little. My favorites are "I will always love you", "Miracle", and "Run to you."

My favorite Whitney Houston song is the original soundtrack of prince of Egypt. This is a duet with Mariah Carey. I was really moved by this song. I'm sure this song inspired a lot of people who are experiencing trials.

Some songs that really stuck and made a huge impact on me would have to be Run To You and On My Own as well. Although I would have to say that I truly loved the movie The Bodyguard, and the song I Will Always Love You as well but over time, this song from the movie felt to cliche and overused. "Run To You" is just so romantic and so endearing to sing along to while "On my Own" shows courage and determination. I think that's what the song meant for me. Whitney was such a soulful singer and the true embodiment of a true Diva. I just wish that she could've done more songs and more records.

she does have those powerful songs... she will always do... the thing about being a good musician or an artist may be is that you will always be remembered even if you no longer around... like Beethoven, Frank Sinatra, Micheal Jackson, and artist like Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso.
they will always leave a legacy to us...
