Why do beautiful people get away with anything?

Trust me if your friend fixed up to argue with the officer she would have been arrested, regardless of whether or not he considered her good looking. Remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it's more than just a pretty face. It's your character, charm and presence too.

I can honestly say that this is not always the case. My cousin is a very beautiful girl, she was even offered a job modeling but she turned it down because she is going into law. Having said that, the same thing happened to her and even though she flashed the officer a very friendly smile and batted her lashes at him, she was still giving a ticket. It is sad to know that some officers can be taken in by a pretty face. I personally don't think that this is doing your friend any good as she obviously didn't learn her lesson and will more than likely just do it again.

Hello lovjca78, This may be a bitter fact, but to some extent it is true.....Beautiful girls and good looking men are already 80% winners in life.....No matter how much preaching may be done about inner beauty and good character and so on.....the fact still remains that outer physical beauty wins. In your case it was obvious as you know beautiful women are weakness of 90% men in this world.Since you and me are females, we will not understand why this is so, so there is no explanation for this..I did not have any personal experience, but my brother is very handsome and I saw that from childhood, things came to him very easily, while others had to struggle a lot for the same.Have a nice day.

I can only say it is human beings'instinct that lead people to forgiving the gorgeoous. I am just a commom people, a man without a good-looking face. And i seldom relish any privilege. Athough i disgust at the bad instinct, i can't get rid of it either. So we can do nothing except slumming it.

the biggest temptation that make human become complacent are the property ,throne and women.maybe we will really weak when faced with three thing that especially to the beautiful women , strengthen your hearth so that you never tempted . i was ever tempted by it but i immediately aware of myself.

I have known people who get away with everything. I have to say that the vast majority of it is charm. A person with looks and charm is a dangerous thing, haha.

I think the officer who did not reprimand your friend should be punished hahahah =)) I was just kidding.But seriously speaking, those scenarios you have cited happens almost everyday and I just don't know why beautiful individuals are treated differently especially if it happens in a most unexpected way =)) =)).I guess some people are easily at awe by their charm and wit and that most people especially officers can't give them their proper citations of their violations because they are mesmerized by their beauty and that should'nt be practiced regularly.Just imagine what will happen everyday if a beautiful lady would not obey traffic rules?And the airport incident you cited too just imagine what if every passenger will have excess baggage in the airport too what will happen to the airport's rules and regulations :)It's funny at times but if you will look at it closely and more deeply it is some way of discriminating too honestly .What if an average looking lady would break a traffic rule? I think the traffic enforcer will issue her a ticket for violating such traffic rule., the excess baggage on the airport will be confiscated for sure.I just hope that some of us will not make physical attributes as their way of judging whether what a particular individual's action is good or bad.We citizens should be treated fairly and if one person made a mistake chances are they should be reprimanded regardless of what they look.

I don't think that it's right to get away with things simply because you're a pretty face. Yet at the same time at times its not so bad to conveniently talk your way out of some trouble. Though I will say that it won't happen everytime,and I would judge the person in questin's character and repeated attempts to get away with something on their looks.

I have seen that scenario a number of times. Sometimes you don't need to be really beautiful to get away with things. You don't need to be really pretty, you just need to use your charm sometimes. And of course you're sweetest smile and just the right words not to annoy the officer, or whomever you wish to get away with.

As bad as it seems, it a true statement...I am not sure why it happens...Maybe the beautiful people just know how to charm others, get that sad look to play on others.. Anyone who breaks the law should be treated the same but\ as we know it dosen't happen...Life is funny and so are people....

I think they get away with anything because people want to impress them.
