Have you experience that your desktop won't properly run in an LCD monitor or should i say "no display" if you open our unit? the screen is just plain black....does it need to have video card?? because i'm using the built-in vga of my unit....

Don't you think that the LCD is out of order? Or perhaps, something wrong with the cord to the LCD. If I were you, I'd take it to a computer shop just to have it checked.

i guess nothings wrong with the cord because i have only one cord...and now its functioning well because i put a video card in it...what surprised me is that it won't display anything using only the built-in vga port (the one in the back of the unit with the color blue port connected by a cord to the monitor? im confuse if some LCD monitor wont display without videocard? have you encountered that?

If you are not sure of what is wrong I recommend to call or bring your computer to a technician. Or hmm. try this FN + F7
I did this to my computer and the wrong screen turned into black. and when i do the it again it turns back to normal screen. WEell mine is laptop.
The F7 has an image of X.
try for yourself.
