Friends, yesterday my doctor said that my skin is cool, warm, and dry....
at that time, I said okay, but now I'm thinking that how that this be possible?...
How can one's skin can be cool and warm at the same time???
Do you have some experience about this?
Can you explain it a bit??? I have no idea, but he clearly said "cool, warm, and dry"...

I've never heard such a thing. I've heard of cool, cold, clampy and dry skin. Did you ask him to explain himself so you know what he meant? If not I would give him a call and find out what he means by this so you have some answers and if there's anything to do to fix this problem. Not really sure what to think of this, but hope you get the answers you want.

Cool = Not feverish.
Warm = Not chilled.
Dry = Not perspiring.
My guesses.

This is really confusing, I have no idea why the doctor would say that your skin is cool and warm at the same time. How is it even possible? I think the best thing is for you to ask your doctor about this the next time you visit him...

Hi nishant
I think the doctor meant - you have a cool skin ("cool" not as in cool winters but as in you have a cool "haircut") so he meant your skin is maybe soft and tender!
But practically I have my own skin which has different temperatures at different places. Think, every one has that kind of thing. I have oily skin that too is in parts - oily at the face, oily hair, but dry on the legs! And hey, did I mention that my normal body temperature is 96 deg? I fall ill when I have 98.4 (The normal temperature as per the medical people), even doctors have failed to explain me this!

Hi,
The same question you could have ask to the doctor itself. Now, just like you, we also are in a puzle. Is it like when you are in water it is cool and out in the sun, it is warm and of course at this season, must be dry as well. It is funny, but expecting that all it depend on your mental conditons. Means, when you are hot, body also become hot and vice ver sa....
Better is to have a second visit to the doc.
Thank-s

I think the doctor means your skin was cool and dry.I think it is not possible that your skin is cool at the same time dry.Another theory is maybe there are some parts of your skin which is cold and there are parts which are warm.For example,when you have a fever your body,armpit,forehead,groin may feel warm but your extremities may feel cold just like your hands and sole.I hope i answered your questions well.
