Make-up vs. Natural Beauty

I love being "au naturel" No fuss and no muss. But, there are also times, I like putting on make-up and "gussying-up." I get compliments like you are so beautiful today and such. Keep it up, they say. I just reply that in a joking manner of course, I am always beautiful... well, if their reaction is not laughter or the rolling of the eyes, it would be that I am much more beautiful with make-up.
Okaaaaaaay, I know, that's the whole point of make-up but is it so difficult to appreciate my natural appeal?
The comment.... you look better with make-up is really not that complimentary. 0_O
I get a little ticked off when they exclaim"oh! you are so beautiful today... Then how about yesterday?? XD
Do you also feel that way sometimes?

When a person wears a make up, people would eventually notice it and will say flattering things about the person. It is different when one has applied a make up. I It makes a person look more beautiful. It actually enhances your natural beauty so don't be really sad about it when others will not appreciate your natural beauty.
