do our dead loved ones really come back?

it was my mom's birthday yesterday so we had a small celebration as a family. my nephew is two years old and he doesn't know the word "lolo" which is granddad in english as my dad died seven years ago so we never teach that word to my nephew. late that night, while we are just talking idly, my nephew asked, where is lolo? so my mom said, lolo is dead and asked how he learned that word as no one is mentioning it to him. then my nephew asked again, where is lolo? this time my mom got a picture of my dad and talked fondly about him to my nephew. then my nephew said to the picture, no, this is not lolo, he is there and pointed outside the window. and this time we were all like staring at each other. am not scared or anything. i would be happy if he is still around and celebrating with us. coming from a two year old kid who doesnt know much, do you think its true? does this kind of thing happened to you?
