I will watch them but I am a hugh wimp, I hide my eyes and want to watch them with the lights on, or even during the day. If I watch them at night I get nightmares, or am afraid to get up at night. I don't know why I'm so afraid, I know they are movies and aren't real but I just can't watch the whole thing without covering my eyes.

Ha ha, I am the same way. At least with gory scary movies. Some movies can be scary without being gory. But it seems like most new 'scary' movies that come out are actually what I would call 'horror' movies. I really dislike seeing blood and guts. It freaks me out, even though I know it's not real. If it's a suspenseful movie, and is scary in that sense, I like those. But not gory... Agh... In fact, my sister and my cousin both really enjoy these movies. They are somewhat normal folks, and it makes me wonder - why on earth would anyone like these freaky horror flicks? It's beyond me... Lol... I will stick to my rom coms.

I love scary movies they are the best kind of movies. I can watch them at 3 in the morning and still sleep like a baby. It all depends on what kind of person you are in your interest to tell if you like scary movie. If they are really scary for you watching with a buddy or a group of friends can make it a bit better or even turn it in a funny experience.

No, I love horror movies, slasher flicks, gore (to an extent). Occasionally a movie will get to me and have me questioning the lights situation - just being honest. Usually I look forward to new horror movies and I've even delved into watching a couple of foreign horror movies too even though I don't like "reading" the dialogue of a movie in general.

YEs, very much.. But I don't now, I just enjoy scaring myself- and it is more fun watching with friends.. I usually watch them in the morning or afternoon too- but I still remember all the scary parts at night.

I'm not at all afraid. I sometimes like to watch scary movies, but I find I rarely get scared. I think I only had nightmares from horror movies when I was a child. What happens more often is that I feel sad for the characters when they die, especially because they hardly ever deserve it. And I feel so bad for them when they are running and screaming being terrified Horror movies are more like tearjerkers to me

Well,it has been a long time since I was not afraid of the scary things in my mind. But when I actually watch scary movies, whether alone or with some friends,I would still be afraid and sometimes would even imagine the scenes in the movies to be true! Therefore,I almost never watch scary movies in my daily life.Maybe the scary music and atmosphere in the movies would destroy the weakest part in my mind and recall the scary thoughts in my subconsciousness. But I really hope I can overcome my fears in my subconsciousness and be stronger in my mind.

According your description I am similar kind of person. I am to scared watch horrors, If I am wathing one, during some scenes in movie I am covering my eyes with hand, or with a pillow. I never watch this kind of movie alone. Once after one I was to scared sleep alone in my room, so I called my friend to come to my room.

I am not afraid of scary movies. They are not a particularly interesting genre in my opinion, but they don't scare me either.

i am very afraid of watching scary movies. but usually i can not help keep watching since i really want to know what will happen later. for me, the most scary part is not watching them, but after watching. i will feel scared for the next few days. sometimes too scary to close my eyes. now i have learned my lessons and keep reminding myself to refuse watching scary movies. i am always wondering why people love watching scary movies. they won't feel scared after watching?
