Do you think my English is now better?

Practising brings perfection,so keep practising and in the mean time try to make us figure out what exactly you are trying to write ;) dont take me seriously,just trying to end my last post humorously.

I think I will put you to the test to know how well you do with your English. To me, as long as you can get the message across clearly, then the effective communication takes place. The purpose of a communication does not lie in the well structured pattern but more in effective communication by which two parties understand each other.

Better? It is so much improved compared to when you first joined that it is difficult to think that you are even the same person! Well done and you are a fine example to others who have problems with English. MyLot is a great place where you can earn while you learn. Keep it up and you will be even better than those who should know it perfectly!

Hi. I believe that no one is doing perfect in our lives. In my point of view, criticizing and encouraging are just have the same motive in our lives. First, frequent conversation or reading really help someone to improve his grammar or any communication-related issues. But let me share you something, why do you think people criticize someone not only in writing, even in other aspects...because that someone wants you to know what is wrong in what you're doing. The same with encouraging, someone wants you to see that you're doing things the right way. Well, just the same with criticizing, someone wants you to improve and show more of what you can do. So it is true, that we have to both accept criticism and encouragements in a positive way for they have the same reason and that is for us to develop ourselves more for they know we still can do better than we are now. So, just keep on exploring through the responses and views that other people shares with you and for sure, we will learn from them. Happy mylotting.

I'm not in a position to judge you because of your communication skills. I haven't read some of your post, but one thing that I had observed is that there are still some flaws in your English. I'm sorry to say this, I'm just being honest. I hope that you won't take this so badly. I, myself is not good when it comes to English. I know the basics, but I take it for granted. Here I am now, learning to study the basic again. I just wanted to let you know that when you use "I", "i". Make sure that it is always in a capital letter. No matter where you use it, it is always Capitalized. [b][/b]

Hello befrindwithme26, No doubt your English is improving and will improve more you if you continue writing on different forums.Yes Mylot always help us to improve our writing skills.I too don't have good English but since i have joined Mylot i have been noticing the change in myself. Of course there are always different type of people we face in life the thing and the fact is we have to deal with them.I always do listen to every body but keep in mind what i like and let it go from other ear if i don't like.

I would like to encourage you. Keep learning and enjoy at the same time. English is forgiving. So what you use i instead of I. One is proper but the little i is humble eh? Your main subject of Godly things that you discuss most of the time can be a big discussion? Yes, I think so. It is ok to mix up English words. It makes people think. Consider, those that read have difficulty to read too but this is fine, for friends are kind and it is not a burden.

Hi befriend, Just try not be so conscious about the way you write English here. Coz sometimes it shows that you lack confidence about yourself. Don't let people know from time to time about you being poor in English or not. Better to keep writing, posting and reading discussions here... those will help you a lot to improve your English more. By the way, I see that you're improving fairly well.

i think your english really has a big improvement. yes, i agree with you, encourage people will give them some power to move on, so we sure always encourage people but not critic on them. is happy to knowing you gain benefit from myLot, wish you could enjoy it all the time. happy mylotting.

I joined mylot yesterday and the number one reason is enhancing my English. A friend told about this site that I can enhance my English here through discussions with other users and also having extra income at the same time. Its good to know that in here people will encourage and help you that shows how good the community is. As for me I will use my free time on mylot than spend it playing computer games for hours. If its ok I'll add you as a friend so that we help each other in enhancing our english.

Yes. I am sure I have seen a big improvement in your English and writing skills. So that just goes to prove what they say, the more you practice the more chance you have of becoming perfect.. Yes, you are right encouragement does cause a person to want to try and do even better. And as far as discouragement goes, one needs to keep it to themselves. Right? Keep up the good work!

Most people here are friendly and they will encourage you. Your skills do improve when you practice the language. I experience the same thing because I use English every day in my work but mainly reading or listening. Here I practice to express my thoughts in English, I begin to think in English. I am sure that English is not your mother tongue, so there will be some intial diffcult to learn, read and write a lanuage. I too like you only, not good at english. Thanks to mylot I learnt lots and lots of new words, ways to communicate etc., Keep posting and enjoy reading in mylot, you will come with flying colors.

Hello befriendwithme. :) We have the same agenda for joining here in Mylot. Aside from earning a little extra, we can also hone our English skills. I'll be graduating after a year and we all know that the language of business is English so it will be an edge if I have excellent communication skills. Anyway, I do not see anything wrong with your English. The way you express your thoughts and feelings is not important as long as your readers or listeners understood what you mean. And in your case, I can clearly understand the message you are trying to convey so you do not have anything to worry about. :)

Hi and a happy day to all! English is not my first language since birth and so are you. Its normal to have bad grammar now and then, but if you are doing well here in mylot, then congratulations. Mylot will improve not only your communication skills but also your typing skills. and yes im smiling, i love it too. I studied english and i think it made me feel better.
