Yah! So what if it is Valentines Day? Is that enough reason for not "letting go" and saying "hello- I want to tell you- it's Good-bye" Will you spare this day for another romance and postpone the "break-up" the next day all because it's Valentines Day, or you never give a dam* and walk out from his/her life? Postpone a break-up? Have you ever done this? Have you ever broke someone's heart on Valentines day? And are you gonna break someone's heart on Valentines day? HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE jaiho®- not celebrating valentines day 2-14-2012 11:04am Tuesday

Hi jai I don't think there is a reason to postpone a break up whatever the occasion may be. If there is no love anymore - it is better to bid someone goodbye and walk away from the relationship. I have never done such a thing, nor break a heart on Valentines day, hopefully I won't ever break someone's heart on this day too. Happy Valentines day jai

hi di Live today, Enjoy Today... all other things can wait. btw why do I need to think of any breakups today? Nah! If there was supposed to be one, I would have picked up my cell phone, called up at 11:59 on 13th Feb and said - GoodBye... and then Today will be a fresh start Seriously, I dont think Today is the right day to initiate a breakup. It is good enough for a Patch up Instead

Yes Yes Yes Postpone it. Because, today you can have a fiesta of Gifts, Chocos, Roses, Food and tonnes of goodies from your bf and then say him goodbye tomorrow... Wont you like him to take you on a cruise today and dine with that Champagne

Valentines day is no excuse. If you want to or have to break up with someone, it does not matter if it is Valentines day. And if you look at it very closely, Valentines day is probably the best day to break off a relationship. It is the perfect opportunity for being together, so you get the chance.

LOL. Look, I am not heartless. I feel for people also. I do not like breaking someones heart either. But I do believe in letting them down as easy as possible.

I think that Valentine's day is just a shopping day, a day to make the richer richest, and just spend money. So if you don't fell that your xb ouple is your soulmate is better say it early than late, maybe she/he can fine a person that love her/him like deserve.

hello Rosa, You got it right. This Valentines day is more of business/commercial thing than the real essence of expressing love. And you are right, why keep someone when we feel s/he is not the right one. Free each other to find the right one is the best way. Have a good day

Actually all these various celebration days which have sprung up is a big racket by those who benefit from the expenditure of people. So the greeting card industry, the gift industry and so on they feed in the psyche of people that they need to celebrate the day so on. where as if you love somebody, then your normal everyday action must say it and one need not wait for any special day for celebration of love. It can and must be celebrated everyday, every moment in more than one ways. So you are absolutely right, it is just another shopping day. And if the relationship is no longer what it used to be, if it is not giving any happiness at all and instead eating away happiness, it is better to say goodbye regardless of what day it is.

for me it doesn't matter if it's valentines day or not,if you don't love him/her then break up with him/her.Why?because postponing break-up just because of the occasion is a sign of hypocrisy,.and i will never give a d*mn..hehe i'm not bitter,i'm just giving you my opinion..

hello emdjay, Since I do not observed this occasion, this is just ordinary day to count. Besides, there is not difference breaking his heart, on,before or after valentines day. The situation will still be the same. So,I agree with you, go on with the right decision- than keep pretending. Have a good day

I have always thought it's a day of affection, not just for lovers my heart was once broken on V day someone that supposed to come to marry me, never arrived 2 mths later I met another man that I later married for 11 yrs since then I never cling on past hurt or loss, it's a good experience to learn I always move on, because for everything and everyone I lose there is always someone/ something better

I have never broken up with anyone on Valentines Day nor would I. Whenever I have broken up with a guy, it was not ever an instant decision. It was something that I'd given much thought to. I would break up with the person beforehand if I really felt that way. I can't be so phony or cruel to celebrate a romantic night with someone that I want to break it off with or even considering breaking it off with him.

I wouldn't break up with someone on Valentine's Day. I mean it's sad to spare their feelings until the next day, but it's a break up, either way it's going to be sad. But I think breaking up with someone on a holiday just adds insult to injury.

I never did so, and I hope never will. I know that sometimes the relationship is not giving a sense, but on Valentine´s day is qiute a bad time for such thing. I am not so big fun of Valentine´s day but still I would in such case find other date for it.

Hi Jai! If break up is to take place there is no point postponing it just because Valentine's Day fall in between. To my mind if an important decision is to be taken, it should be taken at the earliest, procrastination on one ground or the other does not serve any purpose. Happy Valentine's Day!!

First of all, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO YOU MY DEAR JAI! I honestly don't know the answer to your question, haha! I said that because I haven't experienced breaking up on my bf on such occasions. But one thing is for sure,I will not date him on that day..I think that will make him think why, haha! But if I am to break up with him on that day, I will make it gently, explain clearly why and that we are better off as friends.

hi jai, Since it’s the day of love, why u want to say no to love? I would not let a break up happen at all...at least not on this day. If it were to be broken, then it should have been well before the Valentine’s Day and do whatever I want on this day without thinking much. Yes, I am an expert in breaking hearts ..…. the 'Birthday Balloons'. Have a nice time.
