I had been a member of MyPage5 for quite some time when the payout threshold was USD 10. For their very low rates, I had to work hard to move towards the threshold. But as I reached close to it, the site raised the threshold to USD 25, with several conditions, to name a few -
1. USD 5 shall be held in reserve by the site, thus the site will ultimately earn USD 5 from each member in an illegal way.
2. Out of USD 20 payable to the member only USD 17 shall be paid with USD 3 as transaction fee. In this context, it is noteworthy that if the full amout is transferred to the member's paypal account, paypal shall charge only USD 1 for the transaction. Thus, the site is cheating each member for USD 2 in each of their transactions.
3. There is no guarantee of payment to a member even after he/she reaches the threshold of USD 25. There are members reaching a balance above USD 50, but not paid by the site.
With all these information, I have stopped contributing to MyPage5, losing my balance of above USD 18 to the site. This is the way, the site are running their business - nothing but a sort of scam.
This is posted here to warn my friends not to be misled by MyPage5.

I have reached my payout at $25.00 for more than 2 months ago. Until now, I still have not been paid yet.
I also realized that there were not so many payment proofs which were posted by the admin in the blog discussion column.
Recently, the admin has reminded all of the members for not treating this Mypage5 as a business or earning platform.
Then, I am wondering if we should continue working hard to expect for collecting something from it or not.
Let's have our own judgement here.

Hi rambansal, There are many many members who have had similar experience on Mypage5, I too was one of them and I left the site when I realised that it is one of the worst managed sites ever...You may not know this, but the admin has some favorite members who are constantly praising him and they are paid in full inspite their not contributing much ...So, one wonders what is needed on that site contribution or sycophancy ?...

Hi, bro.If I were you, I'd just leave it. If you think a site is beginning to cheat you with various reasons, that's a sign that the sight is in financial difficulty.

Hello Rambansal,
Oh sorry for the loss of $18.Long time back i registered in MP5 but could not keep myself active there due to lack of time and i am really happy that i did not after reading your discussion.
Its really irritating when we reach minimun payout and come to know that the site has raised its minimum payout.
I am not much active on other sites due to this fear only as i don't rely easily to these sites but i know Mylot is legit and safe so i do remain active here to earn few cents but for sure i will get these.

I hate when they change the terms on you like that. Maybe it's the terrible economy, but they ought to at least honor the original terms up until the next payout...

I had become a member there a long time ago but never really contributed very much to it. I am wondering if the US citizens would still have the charge of 3 USD because of transfer to paypal. I am from the US, and often times we have no charge to pay because most companies are here in the US.
I'm sorry that they aren't paying, it's sad to see a waste of time on such a promsiing site.

Hi rambansal
Thanks for the updates. Sorry for the issues and inconvenience caused by them to you and many. Good and Happy for me that I have never thought to continue with any other sites that claim tall to be Payers. I am happy to stick with MyLot to socialize and enjoy. I have stopped existing on all others since long and never hope to return and waste my time with them.
Again, I do not work on any Site which claim to be payers. I prefer to hunt for my clients and do online work for them - there are some scammers there too but still, it is always a learning and growing thing - I stay update with technologies I need, and also have proven work experience

Yeah, there are many sites turn into scam. You must be very disappointed to those site. I knew it, I'm googling to every site before I join in to avoid scam sites.
Thanks for your information, I hope other people not fall in the same gap.
