Why an attractive feature in your partner annoys you later ?

Often, what attracts you to a person to make him/her your love partner proves to be annoying to you when you deal with him/her. Why so? The first reason for annoyance after an attraction is that the attraction blinds you from knowing the reality of the person. This is the reason why most of suspicious persons try to look attractive. Therefore, don't go by your attraction only. The second reason of an attractive feature being a point of annoyance is that you expect more than what is feasible from that feature of the chosen partner. So, temper down your expectations and treat your partner as a usual person instead of extraordinary, to keep the relationship going. The third reason of your annoyance may be that you don't know your own flaws and live with them comfortably. This may be annoying your partner, and your annoyance is just a reaction to the partner's annoyance. So, look at yourself critically in the light of the relationship.

Hello Rambansal, It happens when have an attraction towards someone. We tend to see that thing only and don't care to see the overall character of that person which annoys us when we come to know about flaws in that person and curse ourself for not seeing those.

I think no matter his perfect the relationship is your partner will do things that annoy you. At first like you mention it will just be cutie then the cutie will get old and annoying. It is just the way of life. Even though a partner may annoy you to the very heart and soul of your body it is still possible to love them with all of your heart.:)

Hi rambansal This is really a good set of info. I have myself seen many people face such issue. Though personally, I am too young to have encountered this as we are just 5 years of married life. I think this is also because of age - normally when it all starts we get carried away by emotions and laws of attraction. Over time, we mature and with this our thoughts too mature. Things that meant say A in our teens many a times do not continue to mean the same A today. And hence this feeling of annoyance creeps in.

Good info. but how can we avoid this, if in the first place we feel attraction to the person we like. Hehe
