I was blessed to have found a dear loyal friend in Cheska. Cheska was a Dalmatian Pitbull crossbreed. She was a very intelligent dog. When you look straight into her eyes all you would see is how much she loves you and adores you. She is the type of dog who longs to be by your side and follows you wherever you go. She got sick for a while and had to battle it out for a week but her lungs failed. I love her dearly and there hasn't been a day since her passing that I don't miss her.

It is so easy to become attached to a dog. They have a wonderful personality and follow you around.they're a great companion to have. It's sad when their life comes to an end.I know some day I'll have to deal with it. I have a Boston/ rat terrier mix, she's so lovable.I know its something you don't want to look foward to. But I'm sorry you lost your dog.
I remember as a teenager ,I lost my dog to the highway.I had him tied outside and he broke loose. It was a very sad experience for me .He was a Springer Spaniel named Bandit.I cried for a long time.eventually I did replace him.I even get sad now when I give thought ,and that was over twenty years ago.

I agree w/ you Java09. I distinctly remember each dog I had in this lifetime. All of them have different personalities. It's good to meet people here in mylot that thinks of dogs the way I do.

We had a dog that I thought of while reading about your love for Cheska. Teddie was a German Shepard/Collie mix, the most genael dog I have ever seen. She would gallop and run like a horse it was so cute. She was a good dog and it was very sad when we had to put her down because she got so old and sick. I hope I can find another dog as gentle as she was.
