How do you celebrate valentines day?

Feb 14 is a very specially day to a lot of people. Since it is valentines day. flowers and chocolates are the best seller on this day. some would date at the beach, malls, cruise, and places which they think are so romantic. And for those singles, some would say its just an ordinary day and some feels lonely as the hours of this day pass by. so how do you celebrate valentines day? how do you make your love one special today?

During the first couple of years of my relationship with my boyfriend, Valentine's day is a day special to the both of us. We always celebrate it on the day itself and just eat at a restaurant or something like that, and have some gifts for each other. But for the last 2 or three years that we're together, we always seem to postpone celebration and no more gift giving. It's just a simple day for us and nothing more.

I was at the regular mall today, and I noticed a make-shift stall
was there. It was a florist with bouquet of flowers, teddy bears,
heart-shaped balloons and chocolates. They are selling 5 stalk of
roses for RM100 (USD33) and some flower bouquet at USD350. Normally
girls/ladies at florist, today it was packed with young guys,
gentleman with suits, all looking for flowers to give to their
Valentine. Surprisingly the stall next to it was selling diamonds
and gems - no one there. The price paid for the flower in actual fact
can buy a diamond ring already 
Back to myself, we didn't have any special on. Just a family lunch
together. No surprise ...
