He buys me flowers and candy yesterday and blows me off today??!?!!

Ok so yes today is valentines day, but more importantly today is my road test. I have had my permit for almost 2 years and everytime I go to go for my road test something happens (IE my car gets totaled by my cousin, my engine blows, my fiances engine blows ect)
So anyway I rescheduled my road test for today thinking my fiances truck would be fixed and it's not so my landlord said I could take it in her car.
But she can't come with me so that leaves me with my fiance or my mom to go with me.
My fiance has to work today but was supposed to come home in time to take me. This morning he springs on me that he's gonna stay at work and work on his truck till god knows when tonight.
Then I find out that my moms license is suspended as of today, so I tell my fiance and he's like "well if my truck is done then I'll meet you at the test"
Now I'm looking at him like he's crazy because 1. His truck won't be done, there's no way.
And 2. If he meets me at the road test yeah that's great and all but how am I going to get there?!?!
My landlord won't let me take her car unless I find someone with a license that she trusts because her car is only like 2 weeks old.
So basically I'm screwed. He has been pushing me to get my license because I have PT 3 times a week for my knee plus dr appointments atleast 2 times a week and he always has to leave work early to take me... Not that that is a big deal cuz he works on a farm and his boss doesn't care but if he wants me to have my license so bad then why does he feel the need to screw me over at the last minute like this today of all days?
I feel like I have the right to be pissed off. I don't even care that he is blowing off our dinner plans or anything like that but to screw me out of getting my license really has me angry. I just don't understand.

That's terrible!
Why would he blow you off today, when he's the one pushing you to get a license? Sometimes people (mostly guys) could be so insensitive.
Hopefully when you get to read this response, everything has worked out, and you've gotten your license already.

Thanks and that was my question exactly. It makes no since then again what guy ever does? Lol. I did pass thankfully. And now I can get myself where I want and or need to go without him. It was actually his father who drove 2 hours down here that took me. Needless to say he's not very thrilled with his son but as been wanting to come see me anyway lol.

I guess your right, there.
There are a lot of times for him to mess up but this time should he should had been more prepared and equppied to handle the situation so that he can be with you to help you out in getting your license he should had been there but I need to ask what was his reason not being there?

Yeah. And his reason was that he was working on his truck that he had to replace the engine in. It has been down for over a week now so I'm pretty sure taking an hour off from working on it wouldn't have killed him.
Now don't get me wrong I know what it's like. I work on cars too, hell I rebuilt my first engine at 7 years old and rebuilt my first one without help at 11. I know it can be a pain so I understand him wanting to get it done but to screw me over like that. Even though I still ended up getting my license it's the point of it.

I wouldn't let anyone drive my car without him/her having a license. If anything crops up, the owner of the car will be summoned by the police. I don't wanna fall out with police, you see.

Well first, I personally would not rely on someone I am not married to, for anything. Being engaged, and being married are two very different things. It is not the same.
I can't even begin to count the number of people I've met who have ruined their relationship, because they pretended to be married before they were married. You either are married, or you are not. There's no in between.
Beyond that, it doesn't sound as though he's really all that interested in you. Obviously you know him better than I do, but just from the sound of it, I'd almost be wondering if he has a girl friend somewhere else.
Try not to read too much into that, it's just the feeling I get from a very short post on mylot. But... for what it's worth, there it is.

I get what you are saying and honestly I don't think we act like we are married, yes I depend on him right now because I have no car at the moment and he is the only way I can get to most of my appointments.
I also get what your saying about him being uninterested but I don't think that's it because back in December we got into a huge fight and I sent him to stay with some friends and he was the one begging me to let him come home. Granted things could have changed between now and then but still lol.
As for him having another girlfriend, I don't even see how that's possible lol. He goes to work during the day and I know that's where he is because since his truck broke down our landlord has been bringing him back and forth. When he's not at work he's here sleeping or somewhere with me because anytime he goes anywhere he drags me along.
The only weird relationship he has in his life is with his boss and that even freaks him out on occasion because his boss wants to know every detail of his life and has even gone as far as saying "Michelle (me) is trying to come in between our relationship."
Which we both found weird not only because that's just weird but because I have never done anything to make him think that other then having him leave work early once because I was being rushed to the ER and the dr said I needed emergency surgery.

It doesn't make sense that he'd do that to you when he sort of bugs you to get your license. Who knows what guys think sometimes. They honestly make no sense sometimes.
Don't worry about dinner, valentines day is a stupid made up holiday and there will be other nights to go out.
I tried to make things nice for my boyfriend and things turned out to be a disaster. He got me an Xbox controller and that was the first thing he did to make me a little upset. We didn't even go to dinner because he didn't even think to come up with plans ahead of time. So we stayed out his house, got into a fight, and had this Mac and cheese with broccoli that from a bag in the freezer. Not exactly the valentines day I had in mind...

I know it makes no since at all. I wasn't worried about the dinner or anything really. Most the time I would prefer to stay home and just cook dinner together and relax.
That's too bad, I'm sorry that things turned put that way for you. I think it's just a guy thing.

Oh my, honey that just doesn't sound right to me either. Not that I want to interfere or get into anyone's love affairs or business like this. But couldn't he work on his truck another night, or is it that it won't run at all? I'm not sure why he would blow off a day like this and then your license both on the same day just so he could fix the truck. Something doesn't add up but you know how some guys think, they just don't! I hope things work out for you somehow, you seem to have the worst luck with all of that, I'm so sorry.

That's the thing, he COULD work on the truck another night, he blew the engine like 2 weeks ago and bought another one that he has been putting in for like a week now. Lol he could even go back over right after my road test but is choosing to stay there and work on his truck.
It doesn't add up to me either. But it is possible that he's just not thinking lol.
It didn't add up either when he chose to take his truck to his bosses house when we have all the tools and a shop right here. I mean I know he's at his bosses and I know that there is never anyone there but his boss so I'm not worried about him like cheating on me or anything it's just weird.
I do have the worst luck lol but thank you and I'm sure I'll figure something out.

Yes you are right today is valentine day, today's day is celebrated because all of the valentine celebrators remember those two lovely couples who's had been killed by the enemy of lovers.I think history reversed because according to the topic means he buys me flowers and candy yesterday and blows me off today.I think mostly of the valentine celebrator does not know the meanings of valentine day so they are all losers in the love because they don't know what is love.
