why..? one of the reason because there are so many inconvenient & discomfort when we go traveling. - if you go by plane - you will crash/fall. - if you go by bus - crowded, even too crowded. - if you go by train - beware of pickpocket and rail slip. - if you go by Angkot - raped - if you go on foot - hit by the car (remember the tragedi of Tugu Tani Jakarta?) - even if you shift crawl (ngesot) - you'll still kicked by the security on the elevator. so..? it's hard isn't it? Oh my.....

I think some of the things you mentioned above only happens in most big cities, and I really enjoy living in Indonesia, although there are still many shortcomings, but I am proud to be citizens of Indonesia..!!!

Do you think living in other countries are safe? Have you been to America? You see that living there is even more dangerous. Why have you come to that conclusion? Have you experienced it?

Public transportation system may not be the best there; but I observed that people there have the resilience to cope. It may be hard; but at the same time it hardens the spirits of those who have no choice but to live with it everyday. A hard life now may still lead one to happiness later.
